I have been ordering from here for years, just got 2 seafood delights yesterday 5-27-22, they were awful, hardly any seafood, too much sauce and no flavor, for $15 each. I contacted them right away and talked to a women manager and told her about everything and she said she nothing had changed and she looks at every order that goes out, I really find that hard to believe and asked for a full refund and she could have her nasty food back and she said no too bad. I will never order from them again, a waste of hard earned money!!!! You be better off opening a can of soup or a frozen dinner and a lot less expensive. Michael,
They have the best shrimp in black bean sauce,ever! The house soup is really good also. The food is always fresh and ready on time. The staff is friendly. There are only a couple tables inside and its kind of a little dive in a strip mall,but Ive got food here for many years and Its always been great.
Let's make it clear that there's nothing *wrong* with China Garden. The order was correct, the food was ready on time, and the service at the counter was friendly and pleasant. There was nothing "off" about the food that made it inedible. I just wish the food was tastier. Everything was one-note, and often not quite good enough, making me wish I'd ordered from the Jersey Mike's sandwich chain next door. The best dish we had was the sweet-and-sour chicken, which was good for what it was: breaded, fried chicken with a generous tub of that maraschino-colored tangy sauce. The menu did say "no vegetables," so I wasn't expecting the bell pepper bits that sometimes show up in the dish, but there wasn't even a pineapple chunk in it. It was well made, but no bonus points in execution. The egg roll was fine. I don't have any complaints about it. Everything else was just a little less than good. The lo mein seemed afraid of vegetables that add flavor; I understand that some Americanized Chinese places might not have black fungus or even straw mushrooms, but no button mushrooms? No carrots? No onions? Just noodles, meat, soy, and the hint of shreedded cabbage? It wasn't inedible, but it tasted very much like hangover/munchies food -- the kind of thing when you're not really sober that you want because your body craves carbs and grease. The "General Tso's Tofu" was similarly sad. Not breaded fake chicken, not deep-fried tofu puffs, but pan-fried tofu cubes in the weakest -- in every sense: the citrus, sweetness, and spice were all muted -- Gen. Tso's sauce I can remember tasting. Plus, not even a token broccoli floret to add variety to the dish. The "cold sesame noodles" were more soy sauce than sesame, which was edible but an unpleasant surprise. At least there were some scallions. Overall, a definite miss.
The reason I went to this place was because of the good reviews… I'd tried another Chinese place months ago and I was horribly disappointed… but this place was everything people said it was.. I loved it, and I will definitely be coming back…:)
They have huge portions and great taste! My hubby got general Tso’s chicken and he emptied the whole bowl. Singapore noodles was alright.
This is my go-to Chinese restaurant when I am craving delivery. They have the BEST staples of Chinese cuisine (as we understand it in the US). Their steamed dumplings are the best I’ve ever had, their General Tso’s Chicken is off the chain! The Singapore Mei Fun is also outstanding. Always pleasant people, and you can tell they take pride in their craft. I LOVE this joint.
Phenomenal food, excellent! everyone loved it when we had a birthday party. All orders were correct and labeled as requested.
I absolutely love China Garden. The food always comes hot and fresh. The food is better than the nearby competitors. China Garden will always be my go to Chinese restaurant.
This is my go to place. The food is fresh and they are fast and so helpful. They always bring the food to my car because I am disabled. I really appreciate it because it can be a challenge at times.
We love this place! We order at least once a week! Large portions, great taste, always have delivery.. they deliver before expected time, super hot food!
