Cute place to take a walk or bring the kids to play. The food was delicious I had the chicken salad croissant. They also have coffee and beer also.
Tasty food, friendly service and a great location to enjoy lunch. Mostly al fresco dining but some limited indoor seating available. Save room for dessert or a brownie.
At first glance the menu is creative and the plates are fun and stylish. I was expecting an explosion of interesting flavours but the herbs and spices described in the menu were lacking in the actual dishes. In a word, ordinary. I wasn't exactly disappointed, more unimpressed. It is a great place to hang with friends after a workout with a friend or a playdate with the kids, due to the playground adjacent to the restaurant. Did I say it is an outdoor cafe. May be a little warm at summer's peak. The women that run the place are super friendly and the service is a little inconsistent but you don't mind waiting on a beautiful day. I would also give a few marks off for cleanliness. They are space limited and empty boxes and supply trash seem to pile up.
-1 star for the very long wait / understaffed/ slow waitresses that underestimated the wait time on Saturday after noon. Sandwiches were good (chicken croissant and Cuban panini)
Last night, we hosted a reunion dinner at the lovely Cafe in the Park. What a magical setting and delicious array of sandwiches were served to our guests. Be sure to try the Caprese, Roast Beef and Cuban sandwiches. Also the potato salad was fantastic!!!
Wonderful to have this in the park. Decent food, delicious espresso drinks.Ordered the chopped Asian chicken salad. Wasn't too chopped and could use more cabbage in it. With some added salt it was tasty.
Perfect park! Fantastic food! Best beer! Make it a point to stop by if Clover's Revenge is playing a show. Good Irish pub songs to pass the time with close friends.

Living in Laurel Park, I love that I can cross 301 and be here, just like that. The Cafe has friendly staff, fresh sammies and salads, and yes... beer and wine. The venue is modern and bright with a welcoming atmosphere. I respect that they give a stage for some of our excellent local musicians in their outdoor seating area. Recently, I gathered here with a few friends for light fare and white wine, beautiful music playing, and felt gratitude for the Sarasota I want to keep. Support Local!!
This place is incredible- really well done sandwiches, soup. Try the Cuban and the Reuben!! Anushka salad was delicious. High quality goat cheese on the Zoe sandwich. Friendly staff.
