Had a 5:45 pm pre-theater dinner on a Thursday. This was our first time there. The service was excellent. We shared a caprese salad and we both had the shrimp and linguine dish. My partner asked if we could have angel hair instead of linguine and she readily accommodated our request. The dish was very good (we left nothing but the porcelain) with a decent helping of good size shrimp. We will definitely put Cafe Amici on our list to go again.
The food at Cafe Amici is amazing!!! Their home made pasta and large selection of wine, never disappoints!!! Itâs one of our very favorite places!
Tiramisu was excellent!Braised beef w polenta was excellent!! If you go you must try both !!

Extremely noisy. I could barely hear the waitress speak or talk to my wife across the table. For an Italian restaurant you would expect a more calm tranquil environment but instead it felt like a bachelor party was going on. Food was good but the loud and rowdy environment ruined the experience for my wife and I. I donât recommend if you are looking for a nice date night place.
Iâm coming back to Sarasota (from Pennsylvania) just for the tortellini w vodka sauce. It was perfection, Iâm still dreaming about it a week later.
30 year wedding anniversary!
The food and service were great. It was just very loud and noisy. We never experienced that at this restaurant before. Maybe we should ask for a table in the back next time.
