Great little store, great home made food, lovely people
Great spot. We have drove all the way from Clearwater to try the food, and it was great I have tried many Czech restaurants around USA but this was really modern upbeat and ready to serve not only Czech community but as we anyone who wants to try ethnic food. As regards to prices not sure where other commenters are living but prices are comparable to those in Czech Republic esp those of deserts that said it not expensive at all I found actually on cheaper side. Amazing Daily Specials. Fresh Pastries and Bakery. This place is amazing. We found this gem few weeks ago and have been back for lunch and groceries at least 10 times. Best euro food in SRQ!
Staff NOT friendly, zero smiles or greeting when we walked in. They seem preoccupied or just don't have social skills for a new business. Apple struddle soggy (I know, I'm German and grandpa was a baker by trade), other bakery items fair prices but nothing special to be honest.Lunch? Portion sizes generous but 12.99??? What!!? Hello, this is Florida not New York City and eating area is tiny space less than 200 square feet, no thanks. Some very interesting food items on the shelves from Poland and Czech Republic, prices fair so we bought a few items like the beets....superb!!Probably won't be going back, overall impression was eh, meh. Sorry, I tell it like it is and have higher standards than most people I guess.
We stopped at Bohemian Delicious yesterday for a lunch and shopping. The Czech lunch menu was delicious and most definitely genuinely Czech. We all had rizek and bramborovy salat. Perfect! The waitress was very sweet and attentive to us. My kids got free candy and ice cream after lunch. I bought fresh rohliky, granko mlety mak and other Czech treats and basics. They also had fresh zakusky and range of Mattoni waters, as well as hams and sausages. Czech oasis in Sarasota.
I bought a variety of dessert pastries for a dinner party tonight. All of them were fabulous. The desserts were a huge hit. We will be going back often.
Delicious food and great sweets! Also have a great selection of European goods. Highly recommend this place if you’re ever close by.
This deli is such a cozy place to eat and hang out. The delicious authentic food, delicate pastries, tons of Czech products and very friendly staff made us feel right at home. My husband, non-Czech, even noted that the potato salad was “simply the best.” I loved, loved, loved the home made tartar sauce; that made my fried cheese experience even better. Bohemian Delicious just made it to our top list of favorite places to eat.
