Outstanding Tiki Bar in Sarasota, Florida! Warm, nostalgic, 50’s Vibe decor and atmosphere here. Think Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at Downtown Disney... EXTENSIVE illustrated Tiki drink menu. Our drinks were excellent, and they were quite potent. Staff is friendly and helpful. We WILL be back again! A must-see in Sarasota for all Tiki Fans.
I love the feel of this place. The bartender working for us was incredibly friendly. We got some traditional drinks, and the five of us truly enjoyed the time we spent there. I got a handshake from the bartender after we bought three t-shirts for the remembrance of visiting the oldest Tiki Hut in Florida and from some regulars who were kind to us I will happily return again. Drinks were strong, NO slighting you on the alcohol in this bar!
What a fun spot, its on the same grounds as the Golden hotel so very convenient if you're staying there [2 free drinks at check-in at the hotel which is really nice]. Great staff, lots of specials, good tunes, themed nights. They do live music on weekends and a drag queen bingo on Sunday which is hilarious. Probably not somewhere I'd travel out of my way to visit but if staying at the hotel its a no-brainer, especially on a weekday as there isn't much open late nearby.
The reinvigoration of the Bahi Hut and The Golden Host Resort is absolutely incredible! The staff is extremely warm and friendly, just a great spot to be!
Pretty cool little place to have some delicious drinks. Only a few items for bar snacks, but that's not what this place is known for anyway. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area. Bahi Hut is a Sarasota staple, so put it on your list of places to visit.
This is an absolutely wonderful bar. The atmosphere is perfect and the drinks are delicious. The bar tender made it a very inviting place and gave us the history of the place along with great drink recommendations. This was a highlight of our friends visit and a place we will continue to bring guests.
One of the best environments to consistently go to with amazing drinks. The bartenders Kristin and Victoria do an amazing job making drinks aswell as conversing with the guests. Well done.

Oldest continually running tiki bar in the United States, great bartenders with lots of cocktail and history knowledge. Oldest tiki bar in Florida and third oldest in the US. Opened in 1954 and using their original Mai Tai recipe. Recently renovated hotel rooms, though we didn't see those, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Low key atmosphere, not much to offer for limited hours with food on their menu.
