Best Tiramisu in town. Possibly the best red sauce too, and they are generous with it! Balance your meal with a side of garlic broccoli cooked to perfection.
Being from NY, it’s really tough to find good pizza down here. With that being said I’ve been coming to Asaro’s for years! The best pizza I’ve found in the 941. Cooked perfectly, with incredible flavor. The order and pickup time is super quick as well. Staff is very friendly and great to chat with. Highly highly recommended!
I received Slop for a pie, and when I called the restaurant, I was told it was my fault for ordering extra cheese and extra sauce. This pie was put in it's box so hard that the toppings slid from one side to the other; one half, had 1 pepperoni on it. It literally as if it was stood up on its side. I was then informed by the woman on the phone that I could drive back to the restaurant and the same pizza man would make me another, while it's pouring outside. Why stupid? To have the same thing? I asked if she'd pay for the gas and was handed to a manager that offered my a refund. I have not received any refund, and 27$ gone. Pizza hut and Dominoes are both closer, and have somehow managed to make pies. This wasn't my first messed up order; just the one angry enough to call. Orders get messed up sometimes; but service is important too. I'm done.
We live near Asaro’s and eat here mostly for takeout. In fact , my family just finished a delicious meal tonight, we shared a Calzone, and two AMAZING PASTA DISHES. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE Asaros , and their food, service and overall restaurant is TOP NOTCH! They are kind and always thank us for coming in. They also have great PIZZA!!! Check ‘em out !
First time there, being vegetarian, I asked what's best to showcase them, cheese or a veggie pizza. Counter help, needs help. I went for the veg. I appreciate that they use fresh veggies...kinda unusual to have yellow n green squash, broccoli, then pieces of breaded eggplant. This pizza needs some help. Veggies were basically raw, not enough cheese to even notice. Crust is good..I basically had to doctor it up w tomato sauce n more cheese. I was so disappointed. For $22 including tip, I would not have serve that or change the description whatever hate to say but worst veggie pizza ive had. The crust is good. Prob won't revisit.
We have been traveling around Florida for a month. Everywhere from Ft Myers to Crestview.I would say 80% of our meals have been dine out.This Chicken Florentine was by far the best meal I have had. The pizza is very good also, hard to find a crisp flaky crust, Asaros, is great.Service was excellent.
One of the best slices of cheese pizza I've had in the entire state of Florida. These guys know how to bake a pie just right so that when they heat up your slice when you order it it comes out of the oven perfect! Needless to say next time I'm anywhere near this joint, I'm getting a whole pie not just a slice.
Best NY style pizza in Sarasota! Their Neapolitan pie is thin crust, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The Sicilian pizza is also fabulous! We have enjoyed dinners here as well. They have a delicious, authentic marinara sauce. The friendly, prompt service is a huge plus!
First time here and was pleased on how clean it was but after getting home and discovering that the Italian sub was was good but I feel they must have forgotten the meat that goes onto it, I would bet that Subway puts 2 to 3 times of meat on the Italian sub even without asking for the extras and there was no provolone cheese either. We also bought 2 slices of pepperoni pizza that was okay but it really didn't look to new but taste was ok. $18.19 for 2 slices of pepperoni an a Italian sub was way to much for what was received an won't go back, qill go to Publix next door an get a subtwice as big an half the price.
Very good food. Small but that’s ok. We will be back.
