The service at the bar by Virginia was horrible she was so rude and took forever to even acknowledge me. I have eaten at this restaurant on many occasions and all their servers are horrible. I love the food and the restaurant is very nice, but I’m not sure I would be comfortable recommending this establishment.
Heed the other negative reviews about the food being way over priced for the quality. I love good food and will happily pay a premium. But this food is definitely low quality and just put on a pretty plate. Service was nice. Atmosphere was nice. Ingredients were about the quality you’d find in a hospital cafeteria. If you’re looking for a meal that will be a delicious experience, go elsewhere.

Stopped in for an early dinner and we were one of the only ones in the place which was nice. Service was super slow which was surprising considering the lack of diners. The food was good- we had a variety of items between the 4 of us: meatballs, pasta, salad and soups. It was all very good and we would return.
The Gyro and Kebab at Apollonia was astronomical! Simply amazing. The food was only matched by our very awesome and friendly server Virginia. She treated us right. The best!5 stars hands down. Will definitely be coming back before I leave Sarasota.
Visited for a Sunday lunch, greeted warmly by our hostess. Our waitstaff person was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ordered the mezzo platter and the blackberry ginger ice tea, delicious. Beautiful restaurant and great staff, we will be back.

The food was absolutely delicious and service was superb!Appetizers: Three dips; Saganaki Opa! (turned out to be so good, that we ordered another one); Tuna Crudo.Mains: Lamb Shank Osso Bucco; Mixed Grill; Apollonia Kebab (lamb); Branzino (no bones)It's even hard to single out any of the dishes as all of them were perfectly made. Even kids liked their kids' menu chicken kebab :) And did I mention Apollonia Martini?Thanks Georgina, our waitress, for the great and precise service!We highly recommend this restaurant. It's outstanding!

Went with friends. Very nice greek restaurant. Service friendly and efficient. Food very good. Had the whole branzino with greek potatoes. Perfectly cooked.
