This is not good Cuban food. My wife and her family are Cuban and we all agreed there was nothing crispy about the vaca Frita. The meat seemed unseasoned like if it was only boiled and pulled apart. The Cuban sandwich was not even toasted correctly, see photo attached.
Loved it! The food was amazing! We had the cuban cravings appetizer which included croquetas, yuca frita, sándwich cubano, papá rellena. El cortadito was amazing as well!. Compliments to the chef!!!. Service was amazing, waiter was very professional! Will definitely return when back in town!

Amazing Cuban food! Very big portion sizes! I am a larger guy who can usually eat just about anything and I had to get a take out box because there was so much food. Music kept the place a nice vibe.
Drinks were great and food was delicious. We stopped by during mother’s day and the live music was amazing. If you are in Sarasota try this cuban restaurant, you are going to love it! Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Been coming here for two years now. Terrific food, absolutely wonderful.Before the remodel, the layout was disjointed, sandwiches & desserts at one counter & checkout, main dishes at another checkout. If you wanted something from both, you paid twice. Screwy.Now, a tremendous visual & organizational upgrade. Smaller tables at which someone takes your order instead of the old counter style ordering. Actual miss that part, seeing the big trays of tastiness, trying to decide.Now it's with a menu. A menu that includes pizza & several other decidedly non-Cuban offerings. Why?But the big difference, and the reason one of my favorite restaurants is only 4 stars & not on my go-to list anymore, PRICE!A Cuban sandwich used to be $9, now its $13. Everything else went up markedly and the amount you get for the higher price is noticeably less. Pay more, get less.From an every other week place to a few times a year place. There are other Cuban restaurants in town, maybe not quite as good, but at half the price they have my business now. Sorry, folks, you screwed the pooch.
Tasty Cuban food, good drinks, inviting indoor and outdoor seating, friendly/professional service. Prices however, ain't cheap.
Wife and I came for our first visit and had Cuban sandwiches. Sandwiches were the best and the bread seemed like fresh baked. Staff is great and the live music is an added plus. We will definitely tell everyone about this place and we will be regular customers from now on.
Very authentic, yummy cuban food. Friendly service, open late. Don't be surprised by the mostly Spanish speaking staff which I really felt added to the experience. I'm definitely returning! I hear they are adding Salsa lessons on Thursday evenings! Music late evenings on Friday and Saturday.
