From the moment that we were met by Oli at the door to the end of our meal, I felt like we had traveled back to our days in Europe. The passion that Oli and Angela put into their restaurant is incredible and rare these days. We will definitely return to enjoy everything this little restaurant has to offer.
This is our favorite restaurant in Sarasota! The decor is beautiful and the vibe is so cozy! We love the owner Oli and his gorgeous and talented wife Angela, who is the best chef! They make everyone feel welcome and special! The homemade breads were so good! And the asparagus and broccoli soup tasted divine! The best tasting filet wrapped in puff pastry and a wonderful Halibut dinner after delicious Escargot and mussels! The desserts were so great-crème brûlée, chocolate moose and the best homemade salt ice cream! We will come back here every single time we come to town.❤️
Our friends took us there while visiting. Wonderful restaurant with excellent service. I had the mussels. They are flown in from Novia Scotia. Best I have had. Clean and cooked to perfection. My wife had the cod, which was also excellent.
This unassuming French restaurant in a strip mall has an excellent chef, a charming maitre d’ (husband of the chef), and delicious food. Three of our party of four had the mussels, prepared three different ways. All were excellent, but the winner was the garlic and cream preparation. Our fourth diner had the beef Wellington and loved it. Good wine list, excellent service. A rare find!
From start to finish an exceptional experience. You are sincerely greeted and thanked by the owner when you arrive. The restaurant interior is very nice and has an intimate feel. The food is amazing. Everything presented beautifully with a consistent warmth from the first bite to the last. We enjoyed the escargot. I had the scallops which melted in my mouth. Hubby had the halibut special. The flavor medley was outstanding. I truly enjoyed my creme brulee. Hubby had the profiteroles and enjoyed. Service was great. We were attended to but not intruded on. The best dining experience of the trip. This restaurant is in a strip mall (which we found out just about everything in FL is in a strip mall). So don't let the outer view deter you from enjoying a fantastic experience. I would recommend a reservation. What initially appealed to me was the husband / wife business being truly hands on. We were so delighted we dined here. We highly recommend and would dine again when in the area.

Visited for the first time for a birthday this past weekend, and we were blown away by this husband & wife team!Don’t let the exterior fool you—this restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu heavily features classic French and Belgian recipes, and they offer ten different styles of mussels. They offer beer and wine only, but their diverse wine list offers something for everyone’s taste. We tried the curry mussels couldn’t recommend them more highly! Our only regret is not being able to sample more. We look forward to returning in the future!
Olivier, the owner, right away makes you feel at home. His service is excellent and informative about the menu and specials. His wife the chief is fantastic and all her food is top shelf. What a wonderful way to dine.
We had an amazing time at Antoine"s ! The husband and wife Team takes fine dining and your experience very seriously ,The wife is in the kitchen and husband runs the dining room. He is so excited when you are blown away by the fabulous Mussels and dinner entrees .If you are a foodie this is a must to try and make sure and order lots of the Mussels as they are off the HOOK!
I guess we came with very high expectations to this establishment base on reviews. I felt the menu is over-priced , definitely did not enjoy my mussels and a little anoin being charge extra for french fries. Olso not a kid friendly restaurant . We came from Naples and the Blue Provence was a restaurant were we dine , can't compare ,service , and quality of food.I'm a business owner myself and I understand what a negative review means , I just hope they can learn and do few things better
