Amazing food!!! Everything, from the tortilla chips and salsa to the 3 tacos plate, and the children enjoyed the quesadilla with rice and beans and steak. Not a plate was left with food. The yellow rice, mmm so tasty with this yummy bean sauce, the looks don't even do justice, you have to taste the food. I like the way they kept the place authentic, displaying the Mexican culture. The only thing missing after the food was a gazebo on the beach. The staff was nice and attentive to the children. Adult portions and kids portion were fairly great.

The food was delicious, friendly staff and great prices! We will be back!!

The food was delicious! I'm not exaggerating- I would probably eat here daily if I could.I had a serious Mexican food craving on the 4th of July and few restaurants were open but Angel's was and I am so so so happy they were! I ordered a burrito and my partner got beef enchiladas. I'm the kind of person that can maybe only ever eat half of a burrito but this was so good that I kept eating well after being full. I also tried my partners food after seeing how happy she was and although I dont usually love enchiladas, they were also delicious! The options for Mexican food in Sarasota are really hit or miss (mostly miss) but not Angel's. If you're trying to decide to eat here, just do it. The parking lot is small and it doesn't look like much from the outside but it's what's on the inside that really counts anyway. ?

The building's exterior may be unassuming, but don't be fooled by that. Angel's is warm and welcoming inside, and offers absolutely delicious food! I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal with family, which is a rare find when eating out. I have no idea how they prepare their rice and beans, but I'm pretty sure magic is involved. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were looking for authentic Mexican food and had looked up a couple others finding them not to be quite up to our standards. Upon parking, my parents were leary about going in, but after some convincing (and the grandkids already going in), we found a table large enough for our group. The owner came out and had a delightful sarcastic demeanor that was right up our alley. The margaritas were huge and delicious, while the food was plentiful (except for the kids meals which were small for older children but probably perfect for 5 and under). If you're looking for American Mexican food, pass on this, but if you're looking for great food, great service and great price for the quantity, do yourself a favor and not miss this place.

I will tell you a secret. The best Mexican cook in Sarasota is a Korean woman. We meet her and her husband. They are fine people who know great good. So if you want to try Mexican food with a Korean touch try Angel's!

The environment was so cute and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food was good too.

I work nearby and I make a point of coming here often. The food is wonderful, the owners are delightful and the decor and music make it a fun place to get away!Whether you're on your own or in a group, I highly recommend Angel's.

After passing this place for years, I decided to give it a try since my daughter wanted to go for National Margarita day. The food was sub par and not seasoned. The pork tacos my daughter ordered tasted like the meat had just been boiled in water with no seasoning. The margaritas tasted like the sweet sour mix only. There was no hint of alcohol whatsoever! As I thought about it, I looked around and didn't see any tequila bottles in sight. Needless to say, we walked away disappointed and still hungry.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place was empty (well, it was 4 PM) but it is wonderful. Tasty food great prices and really nice decor. It is even worth a little bit of a detour to get here.Didn’t try any of the drinks so I can’t comment on that
