Absolutely the Best Steak in Sarasota Co.!Dine in or Purchase what ever meat your heart desires and cook at your leisure. The Sirloin was melt in your mouth type beast that will never go forgotten ..
We were down in Sarasota this weekend Feb 2022 and ended up at the Alpine Steakhouse. We initially stopped because it wasn't too packed as it was early in the evening. However that quickly changed with no seats left a few minutes after we arrived. Good timing by us. The place is a butcher shop and everything looked really good. The prices were good, the service was great. My wife had the NY Strip and I had the Delmonico which was almost $50. However this steak was one fire, This was by far one of the best steaks I had ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned and tasted excellent. I got it medium well and it was perfectly cooked. The food was excellent and worth every penny. I dont mind almost 50 for a great steak when its almost $12 for a "value" meal at McNasties. Yes we going back for sure!!! If you are a connoisseur of good steaks this is the place to be. I got steak sauce on the side and didnt need it. That speaks for itself.
Nancy Kay picked this restaurant from The Drive ins, diners, and dives site. UNBELIEVABLY GREAT! pictured is my TurDuckKin and Nancy's German wienrschintzel BUT the Cajun Shrimp appetizer was soooo good. Full pound in broth we soaked up with fresh baked rye bread. I WANT THE RECIPE!!!!
Everything about this place is wonderful. Tonight was my last night working there. It broke my heart to leave them. I was only there a few weeks, but I cried when I told them. I was looking for a part time position, but was offered full time elsewhere which I think I may make better money. I love the owners and staff. I would be there in a heartbeat if I had the night off and they needed me. Love all of them. By the way, I took the job for the job for the great discounts. Just kidding, Matt. Love you Alpine.
The burgers we had were excellent and perfectly cooked. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 would be because the onion rings are frozen not fresh cooked. They came out warm/cool and the batter was a bit mushy. We had to wait quite a while and finally had to search out and flag down our waitress to get our check as she was talking at the bar. Other than that she was very good and friendly.
Great service, excellent food and I will never buy meats anywhere else! I found my new favorite place!
I was picking up an order for my boss 2 king prime rib and 1 Queen when the order was called in we asked for 6 of the half .5 oz containers of horseradish for each prime rib. When I get there to pick it up there was no horseradish in the bag so I asked for horseradish. The employees there got an attitude and said "do you know how much horseradish is?! It's so expensive." I kindly said I'm only picking up an order and asking for what they wanted if you want to charge me do so. As they give me only 10 .5oz which is not what I asked for the older small balding gentleman comes up with an attitude and says he's going to charge me $5 for the horseradish or I could buy a whole pint from the deli. I'm sorry but in any store horseradish is $2.48 cents for 8oz. They then set the receipt down and walked away and I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for them to charge my card.Point in this is when spending $41 per prime rib asking for a house condiment should not be an issue. I never write reviews but the issue seemed so petty over a condiment.
Best twice baked potato I've ever had!!! Steak burger was fabulous also.
We love Matt the proprietor, he is fully invested in providing a ? positive experience for his customers from the newly decorated building with its edgy pony skin back seats contrasting with red ceilings and leather chairs to the indulgent delicious food and outstanding service. My husband had the sausage plate appetizer and says it was the best he has ever had until his meal came. He googled the TurDunKin Prior to our arrival and viewed Guy Fiere expression when he ate it and my husband’s expression was much the same —speechless good Spectacular experience can’t wait to go back❤️Ps- I saw someone else review ‘about expensive’ here’s what I have to say to that - you shouldn’t hold that in a review because you should do your diligence before going to an establishment. There’s a saying ‘ you get what you pay for’ if you want cheap go to Taco Bell like the reviewer did. If you want special fresh awesome then choose the Alpine steakhouse there’s a reason they have withstood the test of time
Had high hopes however when the lady leaving whispered “expensive” as we were walking in should have known. So they forgot to put our appetizer order even in. Then food took so long mine was actually cold. Sent it back and they microwaved it….the food what’s meh and extremely small portions. After spending $50 on entrees we came to Taco Bell …. It was hot ??♂️
