I normally would give this place 5 stars but the last 3 times we went in to get banana splits and they didn’t have any bananas! Just take it off the menu.The ice cream is good and the staff is very friendly
Stopped in here twice while visiting my parents in Sarasota last week. The chocolate ice cream is the best I’ve ever had! That is significant given how much I love ice cream! The staff members were also very friendly. I wish we had Abel’s ice cream out here on the West Coast. I’ll definitely be back again next time I am in town!
We visit this place all the time! The staff is courteous and friendly and the ice cream is absolutely delicious! They let you sample flavors, which is a great option to help you decide.. The Stellar coffee is my absolute favorite. Flavorful coffee icecream with fudgey goodness and these little cups running through. Sooo good!!They aren't stingy with the scoops either. I feel you get your money's worth! Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

Great ice cream and great people! We thought we would give this business a try while on our annual spring break trip here and we are sure glad that we did! The line was out the door but all the ladies working did a fantastic job of keeping the line moving! You can tell that they have done that a few times! Great teamwork ladies! So If you’re looking for a place for good ice cream, We highly recommend trying them out.

I accidentally found this amazing ice cream parlor when we were visiting the beach. The owner is so kind. We really enjoyed our ice cream. My favorite was the kahlua and the coffee. I can’t wait to come back again.
What a GREAT ice cream shop!! WOW -- this place is such a nice find~!! Abel's has such a variety of flavors of ice cream and oh so good!! I'm sure you would find your favorite here!! The staff is super friendly -- always a smile on their faces. Looks like they really enjoy putting a smile on your face as well. Abel's must be a popular place since we went there 3 times and always had a line that went fast. If you want really good ice cream, come here!!
