Food was not good! Restaurant could use a good cleaning!
It’s a restaurant/butcher/grocery store all in one. Authentic as can be. Very good street tacos and salsa bar to dress up your meal as you need.
If you want to try authentic Mexican food this is a restaurant you should try. Nothing fancy but it's delicious food. Will be hard to go back home to our Tex-Mex style food. Enjoy!
Curiosity inspired my first visit but the warmth of my reception brought me back. Some might say the counter-served food is typical Mexican but that falls far short considering the fresh ingredients, the options and level of service. The narrow aisles of the grocery side of the building are chucked full of tantalizing imports, many with very spicy options. There are also colorful necessities from piñatas to sombreros and religious reminders. The online money transfer desk was buzzing with smiling faces and fun banter.
This is authentic Mexican food. Most if not all of the people working there only speak Spanish. Not really a problem. Just point to what you want or on second thought try to say it. They appreciate it if you just try. Pork tacos were out of this world and the Flan was exceptional. Will definitely go back.
I love it. Hard to get items such as Tripa and the food is just like the food in many parts of Mexico. Not your normal Tex-Mex eatery. A working knowledge of Spanish will help in insuring your order is correct. For the gringo that loves authentic Mexican food it is a must do when in Walton Co. For the adventuresome foodie not familiar with authentic Mexican food it is a great place to start. The only problem is that I like beer with my Menudo and they do not serve beer....
This is one of the best places around and I’m not talking just Mexican restaurants. I’m addicted to their beef cheek tacos and brisket tacos. So far I’ve tried five different tacos and we’re all amazing. They come as street tacos, so just meet grilled onions and corn tortillas. Very affordable and fast. It may just look like a market outside but inside is a nice restaurant with plenty of tables.
