Locals but tonight was the first time we went. Our food was great. Service was good and quick. It wasn’t crowded which surprised me on a holiday weekend. We loved the games. My 3 young kids loved the live music. We’ve been meaning to try it for a while and will definitely be back. We’ve been looking for a good family friendly place for a while and this was it!
Went here for dinner the other night. Atmosphere was great, beautiful to sit outside on such a nice evening. Every Burger and Sandwich ordered was great, loved my black bean burger. Salads were not good, don’t order beet salad, unable to finish and not very good. Rated 3 stars as a result of the poor service. Our server did the bare minimum and was not pleasant, was snappy at times and even rude. Poor attitude ruined this meal for us, we all felt very awkward at times as a result of the poor manner. Menu was limited, but expected at a scratch kitchen. Unfortunate that this servers unpleasant nature affected our visit this negatively.
TLDR: Great location and atmosphere but terrible service and below average food. Good drinks.Great atmosphere, live music, and drinks but ruined by service and food. The seating was well separated and cozy outside with cornhole and plenty area for kids to run. Live music was playing that added to overall mood and the place is dog friendly. Everything seemed awesome. The menu was the first disappointment with food truck like selection of either salad or limited sandwich menu, nothing else. You can check the menu in pics. We got some drinks which were also good but took a while to get to us. The waiter was curt at best and seemed incredibly impatient. Water was not refilled and drinks came slowly. The food took over an hour despite it being just sandwiches. Not sure how long it takes to make a Philly sandwich and a Cuban. The sides were generic and the chips were from a bag instead of hand made. The Philly was not thinly sliced sirloin nor did it have the cheese to go with it. Peppers were sliced thick, which everyone knows is a crime for a good Philly. The Cuban was ok but nothing to write home about. After the food took forever the waiter just dropped the check off without asking if we wanted drinks or desert. Not sure if they even had desert. The restaurant has a large building but no real indoor seating. It looked like they have a large kitchen so not sure why the tiny menu. Maybe they are just a front for money laundering.
The Grove is a locally operated hangout place with good food and nice appetizers and a friendly atmosphere in an outdoor setting that is as relaxing as you can be we enjoy it very much
Stopped by on a whim when we biked by the venue and heard live music. Best decision ever! Howaida, our server, was sweet, funny and attentive. I would go back just to have her serve us again! And the bottomless mimosas were fabulous.
Casual fun atmosphere with plenty of entertainment. Perfect for a gorgeous day! Sit outside, enjoy live music, play cornhole, and enjoy some amazing food.
Worst experience on 30A. Over 30 minute wait before anyone came to our table. Over 1 hour from ordering food until it came. No apologies. No one ever came back to the table after the food arrived. Not once did anyone ask if we needed anything. We were obviously a bother to the staff. You will regret it if you dine here.
Good experience, pleasant waitress, no wait. We went for breakfast/brunch, just a few people and we sat ourselves. The food was just ok, we ordered the breakfast tacos, French toast (a tad burnt), avocado toast (not impressed) and the breakfast sandwich, just so so. However, I must say, totally enjoyed the roasted tuna appetizer.
it is hip and romantic! Excellent original live music! The food and drinks are YUMMY!
Stopped by on Sunday & ate in the bar, AT the bar. Great food; I had the double patty burger (1lb) with a homemade tomato condiment; my husband had the traditional breakfast. Both were excellent & the burger was huge enough to have enough left over to have later, as a Super Bowl supper. Helpful & friendly staff, who each seem to have a vested interest in the quality of the food they serve & customer satisfaction. Good Bloody Mary drinks; decent prices; fun venue, AMAZING VIBE!!!Will definitely be back for more!
