Great spot along 30A for excellent food. We had, lattes, mimosas and Bloody Mary's to go with the best biscuits that I've had in years... And I'm from Mississippi, so don't tell my Mom. The Bolas biscuit was fantastic and my kids enjoyed the biscuit donuts with chocolate gravy! and bread pudding.Highly recommend!

The food was not good. It smelled unpleasant and tasted horrible! It seemed like they were trying way to hard to be fancy, that they missed the hair on the cup, and in the food. Not to mention the waitress was very rude, when we very politely let her know we hadn't got a drink we ordered and kept trying to give us the wrong drink, and refused to even respond verbally. Took forever to actually get our food. How in the world this place has good ratings is beyond me!

The biscuits are delicious. Light and fluffy, yet substantial. Be prepared to use utensils to eat their biscuit creations. The pimento cheese biscuit was on the lighter side with a generous helping of pimento cheese paired nicely with sweet pepper jam and arugula. The down home biscuit was very large. Everything tasted nicely together but I made the mistake of trying to eat it like a sandwich with that first bite. Won't be doing that next time!

Awesome breakfast. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Excellent coffee. Our new, quick and easy breakfast spot on 30A. Great employees and quick service. Best biscuits I've ever had. Gravy was excellent.

Not particularly busy but waited 52 mins and the food still wasn’t delivered to the table. No explanation. Would love to come back and try the food but not willing to wait an hour for something as simple as a biscuit, egg and coffee! We ran out of time and had to leave but the Manager was unapologetic and rude when we asked for a refund. They actually deducted the coffee and tea we did receive. We left and had a great breakfast at Fish Out of Water.

go there. great breakfast spot. quick and excellent. cold brew coffee was addictive. biscuits = best ive had.

After being excited to try this place from stumbling upon it, we were quickly disappointed. We waited for our one chicken sandwich, a side of hash browns, and side order of ham as the people that ordered after us got their full meals before us. We had three sets of silverware dirty before we found a clean set. Also, when our food was finally brought to our table, I was disappointed we would be served a plate of food covered with dust/lint, a random crumb, and for $3 this was the size of the ham. The chicken fried sandwich was okay but the biscuit fell apart completely so had to eat the sandwich and biscuit’s crumbs separately.

Good place for breakfast but order carefully. I ordered a Full breakfast plate that included a biscuit. The cashier asked me if I wanted jam, honey butter, sausage biscuit, etc.. I made the wrong assumption that it was included on the side. LOOK CLOSELY, I paid $2 for that tiny black relish container 1/2 full of strawberry jam. ( nothing special about the jam). My husband enjoyed his sandwich and mother-in- law liked open faced salmon sandwich. Everyone agreed the biscuits were dry and more cornbread like then flaky light biscuits. The grits were very good.

Cute & cozy environment. The service was super fast & everyone was so friendly! Prices are good & the breakfast was AMAZING!! ❤️

My wife and I visited Scratch this week in Watercolor for the first time. We had heard the breakfast biscuits were awesome. We arrived to find a line of about 12 people, which seemed not so busy for February. A nice lady in the lobby said we would have to get in the back of line which was understandable; she also provided us a menu to view so we would be ready to order once we got to the front counter. We ordered, and found a table outside easily. (There were numerous open seats) we could see the food being brought to the tables, and it looked sooooo goood…. We arrived shortly after 10 am at the restaurant. After 55 minutes, we still had no food. It was a beautiful warm day, and we were preparing for a meeting at 11:30am. It was 10 after 11, when my wife went in to check on order. She was told it would be another 30 minutes. This would have been almost an hour and a half wait. This restaurant is evidently having issues. I hope they get them resolved as we just bought a home in the neighborhood. We got a refund, and they gave us 2 muffins at no charge which was considerate.(2 stars for delicious muffins) We will probably try them one more time as we want them to succeed and do well. I hope they figure it out before spring break.
