i asked for one double scoop with toppings for me and my friend to share and she said "do u want it in one cup or two different cups?" so i asked for two separate cups, she put one scoop in each cup and then told the other lady they were both doubles so we got charged $22 ?????
If you are wanting good ice cream this is the place. But, if you think you will get a dip of ice cream to equal what you are paying wrong place to pick. Other places that has bananas and ice cream bars along with soft serve places way better value. They actually give you ice cream! We have been going to this place for years but is has changed. Raise the price and get a full scoop or loose business is the result of our entire party. Good service and good ice cream.
Took a day trip over from Fairhope, AL. Enjoyed lunch at the nearby cafe and had our eye on some gelato for dessert. The flavors were perfect and we people watched as we sat on the patio enjoying our cool treats.
The gelato here is superb! I came here just about every day during spring break, and i was never disappointed! The only issue i could see is the high prices but many companies like this establishment need the income during holidays, since business may be slow during off periods. Nonetheless, i’ve tried just about every ice cream place in seaside, and this one takes the cake!
The ice cream is solid but the prices are absolutely crazy. My wife and child had a good time with our chocolate and vanilla cups but the price is makes it not worth coming back to.
Just ok. Added small scoop of sprinkles to single scoop of ice cream and was $8. The girl working the register seemed like she wanted to be any where but there working.
We came for the gelato. I had pistachio and my wife had the chocolate chip. Both had good flavor. They were a little soft for what I'm used to. In Italy they have pieces of pistachio in the gelato. There is outdoor seating.
Limited but lovely selection of ice cream and gelato along with cookies and shortbread. We enjoyed cookie caramel and limoncello :) Totally wonderful!!
As the only option for ice cream in Seaside, here's what you should know.The ice cream, gelato, and shakes are all very good. They taste great and have plenty of options.The gelato is more expensive ($7 for a tinnnny scoop). You get about 1/2 the amount vs the ice cream.Like others have mentioned, the employees generally seem like they hate their jobs. It's understandable that they are having to serve a not so humble crowd, but they definitely don't hide it.
Great place and great service.
