We only had one dinner out while staying on 30A because everything was so expensive, so we wanted to make it count! This is exactly what we were looking for…excellent food with a local feel and outstanding service. We were celebrating my Mom’s birthday, so we were seated in a cozy corner with 2 different happy birthday signs…so thoughtful! I had the special (blacked grouper), which was pricey at $44, but worth every penny! The fish with creole sauce was delicious, the asparagus was cooked perfectly and I’m still thinking about the garlic mash. My parents got the fried shrimp with onion rings, which were lightly fried to perfection. We finished off the meal with key lime pie and bread pudding…both ridiculously good. You can tell that everything is homemade and the employees genuinely love working there. We will definitely be back!
This place is amazing! The staff was incredible and food is out of this world! This place is a hidden gem.
Food and service were both excellent. There wasn’t a disappointing item on the table. The fish, shrimp, chicken, bread pudding… all very good.
We were a party of 7 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Awesome vibe and our server, was Fantastic! He had great recommendations for meals at the restaurant and for other places for us to try later in the week. This seems to be a secret little gem in Grayton beach and I’m sure it will be found soon! We tried another restaurant close by the next night, but returned back here after for dessert again because the bread pudding is to die for!! Don’t let outside seating deter you, large fans were set up and kept us all comfortable. We will be back soon.
We have been coming here every year on vacation. Food is terrific, especially the special tonight of blackened grouper. Shrimp and onion rings are always a go-to. Outdoor seating. Just wish they’d expand beyond beer and wine
Another year, another fantastic meal. You need reservations. When you arrive, your host will greet you and be gracious and glad you are there. The welcoming presence gives a great vibe to start your dinner. The food and service and was awesome. One of my favorite places in 30a
Great service. Kind people. Great food! A little pricey so if you bring the whole family be ready to pay. We sat outside. Gumbo was delicious, it is a dark roux. Blackened shrimp was great. Fried pickles were delicious. And the homemade ranch is GREAT.
This place was recommended to us by our neighbors. We are from Arkansas and vacation along 30A every year. We literally said that we will be coming here every year for at least two meals! Our experience was absolutely perfect. Be sure to get reservations by texting the number listed on their website. We texted right at 5p when they opened and got same day reservations for 7:30p. I would recommend texting a few days in advance, though, to make sure you get in! They have some indoor seating but trust me you’ll want outdoor seating. It has a feel like you’re on a Greek island or small Italian village. The service is fantastic, warm, and friendly. But the food…?. My husband ordered the special, blackened grouper. I had the crabcakes. We ordered the seafood gumbo as a starter and it was great. We wanted the legendary crab claws but they had sold out (so make earlier reservations and get an earlier reservation time- that’s our plan for our next visit?). The wine list was delicious. The outdoor area is dog friendly so we brought our chocolate lab, River Grace. The staff gave her a water bowl and lots of pets. ☺️ For dessert, we had both the key lime pie and bread pudding- YUM. It was the best meal of our trip, and the low-key, family-feel of the entire experience was the cherry on top. We kept ordering things because everything was so good, so we splurged ?. The prices are very reasonable, though, for fresh seafood and ambiance! Bring cash if you want to avoid a credit card processing fee. This is great for date night (romantic ambiance and quiet/peaceful) or families because of the open air. We saw one family throwing a football in the vacant parking lot next to the restaurant. The lenders definitely put their heart and soul into this quaint place, and we can’t wait until our next trip!
Can’t speak highly enough about our experience tonight. My family and I are on vacation and came across this restaurant on google. We made reservations for this evening and were greeted with hospitality immediately. The service was great and the food was even better. What really surprised us was the service. Our server checked on us constantly making sure we had what we needed at all times. What caught us off guard was when our server came up to us to apologize and inform us that our order failed to go through to the kitchen when we first placed it and that they just started preparing it. Our server along with other staff came to us to apologize and wanted to make things right since we “waited soo long” for our food. Let me just say we did NOT wait long for our food and told them several times that everything was fine and didn’t feel like we were waiting too long. Long story short, I don’t think I have EVER been to a restaurant where the staff truly took pride in their business and actually care about their customers experience. I apologize and wish I remembered the staff’s names tonight because I would truly like to thank them for all that they did. Above and beyond. More restaurants and businesses for that matter need to learn and model themselves from this fine establishment. Thank you from my entire family.
