Wonderful place all around!! The food is always amazing & the portion is a WOW, lol! We love the Nachos with fresh pork skins. And the sandwiches are BIG and yummy! We never have room for dessert b/c our bellies are way too stuffed!!The service is always wonderful. The staff are all so nice! And atmosphere is so refreshing and welcoming. Wish I can sit outside in their patio one day...but my husband loves AC too much! ?.
Have loved this place for years - always a “must stop” when we are in town. This was our first visit since the new owners and it was a disappointment. Food took too long (45 min), the delicious broccoli cheddar soup was water thin and had to be exchanged, the chicken bruschetta flatbread has been replaced with very dry chicken bruschetta sandwiches, and the “marinated” steak sandwich was flavorless. We want the old Chanticleer back! We may not visit this one again.
Becca was very nice but the food was pretty bad.All we did was order salads sandwiches and one chicken dish and we were here for almost an hour and a half. It took half an hour for the food to come out.Shrimp smelled so fishy I could smell it as he walked out the restaurant with it.Our childrens food was over cooked and old.The chicken rice dish had hardly any rice and the rice was old and the chicken had no flavor. The home made bread was a brick and the sandwich was all bread hardly any turkey. The soup tasted like Campbell’s canned soup.We told them about it and personally if I want someone coming back to try me again I wouldn’t get stingy with comping the food. They still charged for the salad that had the fishy shrimp on it. They still charged us for the sandwich too.I don’t care about paying for the food but the fact that they were stingy about it shows what type of business owners they are so I won’t be coming back.
I ordered a pineapple mojito and the crab cakes. They were definitely some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten. The cilantro rice was a nice compliment to the entree. Delicious food and delightful atmosphere!
Great place for lunch after a morning on the beach. They offer soups, salads, sandwiches and more for lunch. Our group had the Southwest and the Cobb salads. They were huge and covered with great toppings. The Plain Jane grilled cheese with ham and the chicken salad sandwiches were also great.
I had the airline chicken and it was wonderful. The service was great! Started with the bread and olive oil dip and finished with the coconut cookies. Our server Lauryn was super friendly with great suggestions. Will definitely be back when we are in town again.
Yummy fresh tasting food. The summer salad was loaded with fruit, nuts, and feta. The raspberry citrus vinaigrette complemented the salad perfectly without overwhelming it. The tomato basil soup was absolutely delicious and not too heavy. My husband said his Reuben was amazing and I might have had a taste. The brisket was perfect. If I had been in the mood for something a little more filling, I would definitely have eaten half his sandwich. Our waitress was awesome! I am ready to pack up the whole place and take it home with me.
I have been here several times. The grilled cheese is good and the shrimp and grits is good. This time or server told us the cookies were "to die for", so we got them. I would have given them 5 stars except the cookies did not live up to the expectation we were given. Next time we will pass on the cookies, but there will be a next time.
Out with friends for a nice lunch outside in the patio. Friendly wait staff with a pooch that lives on property but is not a bother. Nice lunch menu. Can find lighter fare.
We were travelling on Fl 98 from Alabama down to Panama City Beach on our way to Innisbrook in Florida. Didn't want o go to the chain restaurants for lunch and took at exit that looked like there was civilization down the road. We found Chanitclee, asked a departing local diner if the food was good. He responded that we were in for a treat and to ensure for desert you had their homemade cookies. They're very conscious of large servings so on the menu they had a shared reuben sandwich with two extras and charged an extra $4 for sharing. It was fantastic and we took the homemade cookies with us in the car. Best accidental lunch we have ever had. Great service; friendly atmosphere. Not to missed. I seem to recall the exit was to Grayton Beach but it might have been Santa Rosa.
