We come here every year on vacation and it never disappoints! Tuesday and Thursday $6. Martinis Quail and Grits favorite small plate and filet steak absolutely delicious. Really everything is good! Friendly and efficient wait staff, really one of our favorites!
This is our favorite restaurant on 30A, hands down. The food is incredible and the service is top notch. Chuck was our server the first time we came to Cafe Thirty A and every time since (by request). He is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He's witty, fun, knowledgeable, and professional. WE LOVE YOU CHUCK!The scallops are to die for, the lobster mac and cheese is fantastic, and the salmon...don't sleep on the salmon! It's so, so good.We can't wait to return in a few months. If you're looking for a classic, fine dining (but unassuming) experience - go here. You won't be disappointed.
Everything was good except the grits.. How can u not put cheese in the grits... The wait is around 45 min for the food at 630 pm Average ticket for 2... 150.00 See pictures attached
Delicious food with exceptional service. They do take reservations weeks ahead so if your visiting 30A you definitely need to call ahead. Crab cakes are amazing and some specialty drinks are refreshing too. Good wine selection and my husband just loves the steaks. My only suggestion is to eliminate the sign for valet. Charging $5 and saying tip not included is a bit uncalled for in a restaurant of your caliber. Either charge the $5 if you feel you need to get staff or do tips only or leave it up to the patron and remove the unfriendly sign
Where do I start… we chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and we were so glad we did!! The name is misleading. It’s a nice upscale dinner spot. Not what you initially think of when you hear “cafe”. My husband had the NY Strip and I had the pork chop. He said it was the best NY Strip he’s had and my pork chop was delicious. I literally could not get enough of the sweet potatoes that came with. We also ordered a side of the truffle Mac & cheese. Holy moly!! Do yourself a favor and order it! This is a MUST if you’re in the area. I forgot a “before” picture. As you can see, we thorough enjoyed it.
Delightful service, delicious food, tremendous wine list selection, lively atmosphere. If we return to this area, we would make a point of returning to this restaurant.
This is my wife's favorite restaurant. We wanted to have a special dinner on vacation, so Cafe Thirty-A was the obvious choice. The drinks were delicious, the crabcake appetizer was 10/10 (and my favorite part of the meal), hydro and chop salads were super tasty (champagne vinegarette is awesome), filet was perfectly cooked, lobster tails, bluefin tuna, and shrimp, all amazing. Can't miss with this place. 6/5 stars.
This was the best family dining experience I have ever had. We made a reservation and when we arrived our table for 12 was ready and waiting. Our waitress immediately greeted us and gave us menus and water and told us about the specials. She quickly brought us drinks and appetizers and watched for any special needs we had since we had 4 younger children in our party. We were served the most delicious, perfectly cooked food we ever had. I can't brag on the food enough. Every dish was surprisingly delicious, perfectly cooked and the presentation was beautiful. We were all sharing a bite of our food with each other because it was so good. The children just wanted spaghetti noodles and that also was served quickly, cooked perfectly and it was delicious. By far, this was the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. Most places do a few things well and the rest are mediocre. Café Thirty A does everything like it is their specialty. Treat yourself and your family, take them to Café Thirty A. It will be your new favorite restaurant as well. Tell them Verbon sent you.
