This a very friendly atmosphere and great service. The view is wonderful and so is the food! It’s our new favorite spot when we fly into Sanford.
The food was great, but Dereck, our server, made the experience incredible. We had dined the night before at Ruth’s Chris for a birthday celebration and we had a more attentive, friendly, and all around better experience here because of Dereck. If Dereck ever sees this, we appreciate you being you more than you know….thank you!
Joined the Yelp wait list which was like an hour, but virtual so no big deal. However, it took TWO hours to get our entrees!! I've seen several reviews stating they had a similar experience, some from 6+ months ago, so I'm hesitant to say the extremely slow service was a one off. Drinks and the fried gator came out quickly and were very good, though. I probably won't eat here again, since there are so many other restaurants with excellent views.Also, everyone who used the restroom here said it was disgusting and that there were holes in the walls, what looked like mold in places and caution tape everywhere. Idk how such a beautiful waterfront restaurant would have a decrepit and off putting bathroom... so gross!
I know due to covid we are trying to get people in work. but WOW my server SUCKED so bad that I had to go to the bar to get me kids a refill, I had to ask the table behind me to use their salt and pepper and go to the front desk to check out all because my waitress was M.I.A. .... Food is amazing, but why tip the waitress when I should give all the tip to the chef. Very Disappointed..
Beautiful setting on Lake Monroe makes it a lovely dining place. We sat on the outside patio with tropical umbrellas. The Catfish and accessories and cheese were excellent!
We were looking for something to do before we had to load onto the Auto train in Sanford,Florida. This was a last minute find, and it was perfect! Less than a 10 minute drive away!!! Picture a waterfront restaurant with an outdoor screened in dining room with a panoramic view of the water. That’s what you’ll find here. Creative cocktails, cold, crisp salad, huge BudLite mugs, all in a marina area. It’s called the Riverwalk area, and is a very different scene than the rest of the surrounding residential and commercial highway area (filled with BailBond shops and liquor stores.) It is in the Courthouse neighborhood, with new townhouses and even has a 2 block cute downtown section 3 blocks away on 1st. Nice to take a stroll and look at all the boats, then stop over to this restaurant for a respite!
Stopped here on our way to Sandford Orlando Airport. The service was excellent. The salmon and crab was delicious. The mac and cheese was really good. They are a little pricey but it was worth it! If we are ever in the area again, would definitely stop again!
We sat on the screened in porch beautiful view. Great server very attentive blackened shrimp and grits very good shrimp Alfredo as well nice atmosphere
