Had dinner with the family and had a wonderful server Melody. She was very attentive to our needs. She was wonderful with the kids (3 &11) she kept our drinks refilled without having to be flagged down. Food was served in a timely manner, even my picky eater was impressed with what Melody suggested. Will definitely return as long as Melody is our server. Great job Melody!!

Always enjoy Sonny’s and this location is no exception. Sliced pork was tender and juicy. And the fries were done just about as I asked for them. Still good though. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Spoiled only by the kids but can’t do anything about that.
Found this place by chance and so glad we did it was great. Got the platter the ribs and brisket were slightly chewy but could have been that it’s different bbq style than we normally have, flavor was good as well. The chicken and pork were some of the best I’ve had! The Hannah pudding and donut holes we incredible!!! The BBQ sauces were all very very tasty my wife even liked all of them as well!Lastly the service was incredible everyone was very polite and our server was very attentive and courteous as well. The place we pretty much full as we left so people probably already know about this gem but if you are in town or live here GO!!!!
My wife and I have probably been to about 10 or 12 Sonny's restaurants in Florida but the 1 in Sanford Florida has consistently been the best in every category of all the other Sonny's restaurant we've been to. Over the last couple years want me to come to the one in Sanford the food is always perfect and all the waitresses and waiters are really nice but our favorite is Jamie she is so attentive and so helpful and so kind and considerate it's almost like you're at your mother's house on Thanksgiving and she's taking extra special care of you LOL but seriously all the waiters and waitresses we've had there are really awesome and what I like about the food is consistently good and if there is any problems it's taken care of immediately

She got our order out to us with a smile and managed to keep my husbands drink full throughout our meal. That is no easy task since he loves their tea. She is top notch. We will continue to be regulars at the Sanford location. Favorite sauce is the sweet BBQ. ?
We love coming to Sonny’s in Sanford, FL! The food is consistently delicious and served up quickly. The service is great: Jamie W is the best. She makes us feel welcome, valued and appreciated every time we visit, so we always ask to sit at her tables. Omar, the host, is another outstanding employee. Excellent BBQ near Sanford Airport. We stopped before our flight. Zach, our waiter, provided excellent service with a smile! He answered all of our menu questions before we ordered. We enjoyed the yummy egg rolls for an appetizer! I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich & others had rack of ribs. Everything came quickly & hot! I will stop here again.
Our group decided to have dinner at Sonny's BBQ, I had never been to one before so this was a new experience for me. I want to thank Tracey for her great service and pleasant manner for making this one of my most enjoyable outings with a large group. Her service was THE BEST and in second place came the food. Please understand, the food was great but the smiles were even better. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening with friends.
I like to say that my visit was very enjoyable. Was not sure of the menu so I ask the server for the manager . Tommy came over to our table and explained the menu to us. He was very polite and very professional. The service as well as the food was excellent. Thank you Tommy for a great experience and making us feel welcome. Will be back.
