Save your money. They cut back to almost half the meat the used to give you so when bite your sandwich its 80% bread, 20% vegies and 20% meat. The staff is so scatterbrained when I said roast beef they proceeded with a philly cheese steak. I understand being busy with cheese steak friday, but not even asking me if I wanted cheese and automatically putting it on there upset me. This place has gone way way down.
Wings were not tossed, fries were either cooked in old oil or sat for awhile and we're ridiculously salty. Definitely not worth $15 for 6 wings and a order of small fries.
Not sure what happened to this place but no words can describe the disappointment. Went in yesterday to get a cheese steak and a Reuben. The employees were too busy goofing off and running around to focus on what they were doing and the food was horrendous. The cheese steak and Reuben were both nothing but bread, the cheese steak wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese, taste was gross, Reuben has spicy mustard on it (why no clue), and the Reuben was just smashed in the press basically as it wasn't even warmed all the way through. Now to top off the waste of $30 for two sandwiches and a small fry we have had a serious belly ache ever since. Traveling today and it's misery! Never again will I waste my money, the owner should be embarrassed of the service and the quality of food.
Ordered Uber Eats and maybe that was the issue. It was like someone was actively trying to ruin the food from the restaurant or this is always how they present food? The food was nothing like the images, very little on the one sub and other sub, it was covered in so much dressing that everything was soaked through, EVEN THE BAG WAS OILY inside and out. It wasn't the delivery person. I know Uber has a markup but this was insane. Almost $20 for a single sub with barely anything on it and almost $15 for another sub that was melted with dressing?? The other sub that was oily literally fell apart when I opened it. Never ordering from this place in person or online. Also the drinks were warm with no ice. The worst.
I driven by this location numerous of times and wanted to give them a try when I saw they had a Crispy cod sandwhich. Well i must say it was not worth the almost $11 price at all. The one piece of fish was lost in the bread it was so small. I'm not sure if the tartar sauce is made in house, but tasted like mayonnaise. It was so disappointing. I haven't tried anything else but am not willing to risk having another skimpy sandwich at those prices.The two stars are for the friendly staff and the bread, which was fresh.
First off they closed way before 3 on New Year's Eve..odd but OK. Never seem like they want to work. Kept the open sign on when they closed shop early on a special day Friday Cheesesteak subs deal. Sure it would have been busy! Place has gone down hill. Workers everywhere not all but most just well plain suck. Find a job elsewhere stop ruining the place! I have been going here even when it was two other spots 40 years! Yall should be ashamed!
Great service and very accommodating with a special request. I haven’t had a Sobik’s cheesesteak sub since I was a teenager. It was just what I remembered and very delicious. The employees took really good care of us there and we’re super nice.
Great spot for quick lunch
When we walked in the doors an odor hit me. It smells like it's not been deep cleaned in a very long time. I'm not sure if you can say it's steak it looks like it's been boiled & the onions were mixed in we're a translucent which made me believe it's been boiled. The bread is good. The Italian sub had smoked meat on it. Which was kind of weird. The french fries are shoe string potatoes and those weren't good either. The gentleman and lady who worked there were really nice. I wouldn't go back but wish this business all the best.
Ordered the sobiks signature almost all bread very little toppings.Been going here for 16 years,sad to say never again.This place has seen better days.Firehouse will have my business .
