Went for lunch on a Sunday as we thought they were a well known sandwich place. Disappointment from the moment we walked in and they were dead. Staff was tolerable of us at best. We both got the cheese steak since that's what they're known for and a side of fries. The fries would have been great if they were soggy and soaked with grease. The sandwiches had good flavor but the bread was so soggy we didn't eat half the bun and what we did eat was disappointing at best. Go anywhere but here and you'll be guaranteed at least food you can eat.
Great old fashioned sub shop.The cheese steak is the absolute best.

Wonderful food and friendly staff! I would say this is better than a Publix sub. Bread is soft and tasteful. Meat and veggies taste fresh. Inside the place seems clean and we'll kept!
Update;Deb the manager reached out to me almost immediately and offered to make it right. She apologized for the employee and invited me back. She corrected the issue.My experience was amazing this time. The sub was perfect and HOT! Kristin one of her employees cleared the line with ease. She was very polite and friendly and you can tell she new her stuff. I also want to point out there’s almost no peppers it’s all onion Where’s the quality control. The sandwich and bread were ice cold. The fries were so over seasoned I through them away they were in edible .I’ve been coming here for years. I stopped for a while due to COVID and the rise in prices. However I wanted to treat myself and enjoy a great sub.I came in around 1pm on Saturday 12/11/21I wanted A chicken sandwich with pepper and onion toasted. The person working behind the counter said we don’t sell that so I’ll charge you for the most expensive sub (chicken, bacon and ranch) I said ok. When I went to pay he wanted to charge me for peppers and onions, I asked since I didn’t get bacon ranch or any cheese shouldn’t the peppers and onions be a substitution for any one of those. He was rude and said “he doesn’t make the menu”. If it wasn’t for the very nice girl at the cash register I would’ve just walked out. She just substituted the bacon for peppers and onion. I was happy again till I got home and saw the sub and fries. The guy working gave her dirty looks and rudely said to charge the sub price plus extra for peppers and onions. 1 sub and fries is already very expensive, if it makes the customer happy just figure it out.This is not the quality of sub that I used to get. I’m hoping the owners see this and offer an apology and give this guy some more training. I work 2 miles from this store I used to go all the time for lunch before COVID. I wanted to start up again but not if your customers are going to be treated this way.I’d like to give you guys another chance to make it right but if I get no response I probably won’t go back.Thank you

Stopped here with a friend who raved about the place. I had the meatball sub which was the deal of the day. It was okay. There was only one person working behind the counter and of course there was a sign on the door saying short staff... Not sure how much longer I can cut slack for shortages. This place has been around forever and supposedly a classic but my experience was mediocre at best. I'd eat here again if I was in the area and in the mood for a sub, but I wouldn't make a special trip.
Skibo's always produces a nice sandwich. The hell. They have good fries too the Coke is always mixed right and and the staff are friendly. The sweet tea is always fresh not stank. I mainly get the stake and cheese. I got meatballs special and it was just right to the very last bite. I thank all the staff for coming to work.We appreciate you.
