My first experience at Salvatore’s and I was blown away! The super friendly staff, Chris and Justine, when asked what’s the sub they are known for promptly recommended the Classic Italian for a cold sub and Italian Steak for a hot sub, based on their recommendation we went with the Italian. The sandwich was delicious, the bread and select meat cuts were complimented by their garlic aioli made in house daily. 5 stars and would recommend to anyone.

Soo to start.. As a native Chicagoan I know my subs and flavors!! Taking a bite into a Salvatore’s Italian sub starts out with shock…then amazement begins to build and finishes with delight as the flavors from the bread to the toppings excite my palette. You just need to try it! My only complaint is that the sandwich is so good I keep forgetting to take a picture of it before I bite into it and I have to drive from Winter Garden for the delicious treat! ?
I realize this is a lofty thing to say but… I may have just had the best sandwich of my life.At $8+ per sandwich, it’s pricey, but… it’s also incredible and a huuuge portion.Boars head meats, everything is proportionate so theres not too much or too little of any topping, and they stack everything on the roll so nothing falls out (the roll is amazing btw).AND they arrange it so you get everything in each bite which I thought was just a thing I’d seen on food shows but didn’t actually happen in real life.They also brushed the top of the bun with olive oil and Italian seasoning (which might have been just my particular sandwich but even still, the attention to detail!).On top of everything, the staff was genuinely kind and clearly had love for the food they were making!
My girlfriend and I like to frequent Henry’s Depot for some delicious vegetarian food at Dixie Dharma. Unfortunately, they were already closed when we arrived. While we were pondering our food options, a nice gentleman from across the hall asked us if we needed assistance. We told him we were planning on eating vegetarian/vegan food (my girlfriend is a vegetarian) but the restaurant already closed. He was very friendly and offered to make us sandwiches instead. It was a tempting offer but were unsure since it did not appear that they had vegetarian options for m’lady. Well, the gentleman who I later learned his name is Robert and is actually the owner was very accommodating and offered to make a vegetarian sandwich for her. I’m not a vegetarian so my options were pretty much unlimited. As a guy who almost always eats Publix subs, the thought of eating here felt like I was cheating on my beloved Publix. Well, we decided to give it a shot and holy moly.Sorry Publix… I found someone better. His name is Salvatore and not only does he treat me better than you, his sandwiches are tastier than yours as well!My girlfriend was equally impressed as well! We will definitely be coming back. If you want an amazing sandwich, take a break from Publix and check this place out!
Best pastrami sandwich I ever had. I drove past this renovated train depot a few times, didn't realize there were fabulous places to eat in there.

A fresh sandwich made right before your eyes. The options are particularly endless. Hot or cold sandwiches available. The service is amazing and the staff is courteous. The meat is freshly sliced and the cheese is amazing. The aioli adds to the quality and taste of the sandwiches. The bread is firm yet soft, which adds to the flavor the sandwich. Farm fresh veggies top the sandwich to make your mouth water. Stop on by and enjoy a great meal. Don't forget the chips.
Very good service and probably the best sandwich i’ve ever had! I tried the Spicy turkey and it was very flavorful with fresh ingredients. Definitely will be going back regularly :).
I don’t even understand how a sandwich can taste so good! Second time here, first time was a cold Italian, this time was a hot Italian Steak. Both were unbelievable, you MUST try this place! Thank me later (;
