Their sushi is everything. It’s so good. I wish I knew about this place before.

The restaurant looked clean, but there was a weird smell when walking in. Nonetheless, we sat down to experience some sushi. Went to the restroom and the experience in there was horrendous. To be honest, I would have rather went to a porta potty. Food was just okay.

I wanted to try this nearby spot, also like the name so I figure give it a try. When I walked in I got hit with an overwhelming stinch of what smelled like moth balls. I couldn't bare it so I walked out. The people inside seemed fine with it though. Gave 3 stars for appearance since I never even tried the food.

Absolutely wonderful experience, great food, great atmosphere, great service. Especially love the happy hour 3 to 6 Monday through Thursday.

I paid $25 here on a Hibachi dinner and got what I would say is a lunch portion. I would say a big enough child could eat it. Literally only ordered from here because Yabi was closed.. go to Yabi. I would have waited the holiday weekend just to get my money's worth.

Nice atmosphere, clean place. The service was great. Everything we ordered was delicious and we left satisfied?

TLDR: no quality sake, one of the better strip mall sushi places but not one I'll go out of my way for, fish cuts were quality, staff was nice, chef was great, sushi rice was not soft enough, krab was odd.First off, do not expect any good sake here. They have sho chiku bai for their house hot sake (fine) at 6.95 for a small (ridiculous) and then two other low end cold sakes. I was expecting to find at least a handful of decent sake with the word "sake" being in the name of the place. staff was nice and attentive, though seemed apprehensive, like they weren't sure what to do with customers (server brought me water after the meal). Place was generic Japanese restaurant theme. Nice enough. tables looked nice. sushi bar looked standard.Chef made good cuts on the fish, though thin portions. I did the lunch special of 1 California roll and 6 pieces of fish. Fish was all very mild and good temperature. Not out of this world but good enough for strip mall tuna. The California roll was odd. The krab was dense. The rice was also odd. Had a stiff texture. the whole roll felt unusually stiff to eat. Wasabi was somewhat punchy but still more mild than I prefer. Ginger was standard but not bad. The chef was the best part of the experience. He had skill and also made me a small sample of a tuna/salmon baked bite with eel sauce that was delightful.I'm giving 4 stars because they seem like they are making a good effort and I feel they deserve business. I don't live close by so it won't be mine again though.

Great place! Really nice service and good prices. Definitely going back! There is a new management, you can really see the changes in the service and the food!
