Was so glad to find a Rita's in Sanford! We went two days in a row on our vacation. We had the Lemon Cream Pie Blendini and Apple Pie Milkshake! Highly recommend them both!
Limited choices and the frozen custard is just okay. Staff is friendly and kids liked some of their flavors.
We loved Rita's up north because frankly there was nothing to compare it to. In this area, I think you'll find that Jeremiah's has superior products and facilities. Comparatively speaking, Rita's menu seems a little piecemeal and haphazard, and the walk up experience and wait time after ordering isn't great. The product is very good overall and the prices are comparable.

Not sure if it’s bc they recently opened. But customers stood at the window and weren’t acknowledged for a while. It also took a while to get the order. And it was not worth the wait or the cost.
So happy to see a Rita’s Italian Ice in Sanford, FL! I loved it up north in NJ and I’ve been coming to this Rita’s since they opened in February. The flavors of ice are amazingly delicious. My favorite is Mango and Georgia Peach. The staff are friendly and the store is clean. The manager, TJ, is friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go again for my next Rita’s fix!
An experience of chocolate custard perfection, from the first cool, creamy, cacao taste to the last bite of a perfectly caramel vanilla crunchy waffle cone. Great full flavored vanilla custard, too!
Rude employees and they don’t accept AMEX. There’s other locations around, don’t waste your time.
