Mobile order was supposed to be able to be picked up at 1:30pm. I left with order after waiting for 30 minutes. I work in customer service and I was barely acknowledged by the very rude front staff. I did not receive all of my items either. Thoroughly disappointed. Love the food but this experience, that I drove out of my way for, was a disaster.
Ordered my food via the website and was provided instructions to pick up inside on the pick up rack. Dining room was closed so I had to wait forever in drive thru. It's time to start opening up all food places. All of Florida is open accept for places that have employees scared of Covid and still locking food places down. If your scared stay home.
Worse meal and terrible service. Couldn't even eat it after trying yo get our order right that was twice wrong. It was late but and could not eat the beans and rice it smelled and tasted so bad. They were rude about replacing my order but how could they even serve that. Threw away $60 of food. Never again. Done with this restaurant.
I was charged $8.58 for 2 chicken breasts that are actually 2 chicken tenders! This completely unacceptable and a total rip off!!
MULTIPLE times my order has been WRONG!!! Something is ALWAYS missing from my order. If it’s not missing the sauce, it’s one of the ingredients from my order.
This was the very first time I’ve ever ordered from here and will absolutely never again. I ordered on line, food was ready in a very reasonable time, but that is the end of anything positive. Got there to pick up the order and the doors were locked , people dining inside and signs on the doors that said dining room closed. No one would come to the doors even after knocking. Here’s where it really takes a bad turn; the drive thru, my only option at this point about 10 cars deep, once your in, your stuck. Needless to say by the time I got to window, 55 minutes had passed since my food was ready. When I got to the window, and explained the situation trying to figure out why I shouldn’t get my money back for the cold food they handed me and the manager just said, there is nothing I can do. I’m short staffed, this is what it is. At that point I was so frustrated I just left. nothing else really matters because we’ll never go back, but the coupe de gras was that the order was wrong!!! I can’t make this up. All I could do was laugh.
This place has truly gone way downhill. The rice in my Tropichop was mushy and seemed as if it had been sitting in the container all day. The chicken was burnt. It may not seem too bad from the pictures, but it tasted distinctly burnt. I ordered two of these and both were the same and couldn't be eaten. To top it all off, I only received sauce for one of my meals even though I asked for sauce for both. And the cups of sauce that I did receive were only 1/5 to 2/5 of the way filled. I also ordered the empanadas, which were cooked well, but just not to my liking. Other people might like them.I used to love this place so much, but the last few times I have been, it has been consistently bad. I think this is my last time visiting here. I've wasted way too much of my money already.
The chicken was dry, my rice & beans were ok as well as the shrimp, my sister only got part of a half chicken & it was dry. There wasn't anyone in the dining room but they had a bunch of chicken on the grill. We sat in the dinning room.
Was disappointed they were out of mashed potatoes and the chicken was dry and very small,the little dinner rolls were also hard. Never had an issue before so I will try them again. I love Pollo Tropical
