Started by a Sanford firefighter who left job to follow his passion, Palate roasts all their own coffee beans and features really good coffee that is served the right way & at the perfect temperature. We stumbled onto this little gym while trying to get to the Central Florida Botanical Gardens and Zoo. The barista was very professional as personable. She knew her stuff and could rock that espresso machine. The raspberry mocha was a fresh delight with gentle hints of fruit and chocolate and smooth espresso. The Chia latte was perhaps the smoothest chia I have ever had. Worth going out of your way.
I live close enough to walk to anything in the downtown Sanford area, after reviewing the pictures & and the reviews I decided to try it. I usually have my coffee by the water but hey I wanted to try something new. I sat outside & was given a to go cup for a cappuccino, the bagel I ordered looked and tasted as it hadn’t been warmed up, we had to go inside to actually get it and the friendliest was deff off at this place. I was VERY disappointed & will not be back unfortunately.
Beautiful place, very cozy and comfortable. Calm atmosphere. They play white noise so you don't have to. Loved the place & the coffee.
Staff was fine, but the floors were dirty and the coffee was just ok. There are a lot of other places to go instead.
My wife and I stopped in for a coffee while walking the nearby district. Friendly staff and delicious coffee! Took it to go, but would sit and have a bite next time... Would definitely return.
