Great food and service. Highly recommended.
Have been feeling under the weather and was really craving good ramen to-go! Got the Dan Dan Ramen and it was so flavorful! As soon as I opened the container I could small all of the wonderful aroma and mixture of ingredients! I wish I could capture it in the picture to share. Chef Junichi is amazing! Also got the Takoyaki, because I just couldn’t resist! It’s so good here! <3 Thank you for making my day!
This place owns by the real Japanese. Their ramen soup bases tastes exactly the same like the one I had in Tokyo. And my beef udon is delicious. Takoyaki has too much flour and not enough fillings so it tastes like a flour ball, sauce is good tho. Finally find out one that really closes to the real one. Definitely will be back to explore more.
World class Ramen, the food is what you'd expect in a big metropolitan city, not Sanford Florida. Wednesdays is Happy Hour which makes it a great value
The only thing positive to say about this experience was the staff was really nice. We had the skewers for an app. How do you screw that up? The pork belly had no char, the meatballs I’m pretty sure came from the frozen food section, and the hearts weren’t marinated, just brushed with sauce. I got the ramen and was utterly appalled when I saw spaghetti noodles in it!!! Spaghetti noodles!! You should be ashamed of yourself! No depth of flavor in the broth and the pork had an off putting flavor. If you think this is the best ramen in town, you obviously have never had real ramen. Extremely disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Jimotti’s is definitely a hidden gem! The waitress, Allie, was very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is cozy and unique and the food was fabulous and tasty! I had the bento box with a variety of their sushi, sashimi, salad, miso soup and special fried chicken. It was all amazing! If you like unique hole in the wall places you’ll love this place. I’ll definitely look for an excuse to come back! :-)
Just went this evening. My son's 21st birthday. The food was superb, the portions were large enough to prevent us going to a planned dessert stop afterwards. Very reasonable price too. definitely going on our regular outings list. Thanks
Good for the price. The shrimp in the Nagasaki were a bi overcooked and I've had better noodles, but overall, good.
They don't have a veggie ramen on the menu. So it feels like you have to bend over backwards to order it. It's really good once you get them to make it. It's a miso broth with cabbage mix. It would be nice if they just added a menu option so it can be easy for everyone.
Looking at some of the other reviews my experience today makes perfect sense. Today I ordered Tempura Udon, Gyoza, and some other items. I get home to less than half portion size than any other time I have been to this restaurant and my Gyoza was partially cooked. The server who seemed to be new didn't give a damn and even told me I was lying when I said my food was cold. Her words were "they said it wasn't cold" I know what I touched and I am aware of portion size. She said she would get the manager/chef to come back seconds later and say they weren't available. I've sent a Facebook message but am realizing there's no point because service means nothing to them so my support of this business has ended. They could at least try to make things right. I do not recommend this place off of service alone. Inspect your food before you leave if you get takeout otherwise you've donated to an undeserving business.
