Came in with 10 people last Saturday. Took over 40 mins for a table (which we were ok with). They seated us in the back room and then no one ever came to get our order. We sat there 30 mins and at this point the restaurant was basically empty. 5 workers just standing there hanging out at the front entrance and maybe 3 or 4 other filled tables and that was it. Multiple waiters and waitresses walked by and never helped us. They never even took our drink orders so we had to leave after sinking an hour and a half into this place.
Worse service I've EVER had. My family and I walk in and there are 2 other families in the whole place. The host looks up and tells us very rudly to hold on. Then tells the waitress that we will be sitted in her area. She says "oh yay" like it's such a trouble to do her job. Then she's says she'll seat us in a second but proceeds to walk past us 4 times without even looking at us until we finally just left. This kinda treatment is the reason people don't want to go out anymore.
Our server was very pleasant, unfortunately, the food was very sub par overall. My omelet was an egg rolled over with nothing in the middle and some toppings (strangest omelet I've ever had). We also ordered the protein pancakes which were undercooked in the middle both times they brought them out.
We are at the Sanford IHop every week for our River's Edge Networking group. Kele and the staff are terrific. They do everything they can to make sure our breakfast is served hot and delicious - even if our meeting gets started. Way to go, Kele!!
The front door glass was dirty with finger prints. Had to wait for greeter. Got seated. Waiter comes and says my memory is failing fast so of course the order came and was wrong. Music was too loud. Waiter didn't refill water twice. Had to ask for ketchup and pancake syrup. Lemon crepe filling was gritty and flavorless. Didn't remove empty dishes timely. Had to wait a long time for the check then the waiter didn't specify whom to pay. Although the entrees were tasty (except for the crepe) this wasn't the best way to start our day. It had been many years since we lasted visited IHOP so we thought we'd try again. Bad decision. Won't be back.
Food was great. Coffee was wonderful. They give you a pot of coffee so you can keep pouring yourself more. When we got the check and hubby looked at it, he told me he didn't get the avocado, so I asked the waitress to credit us for that, and she was annoyed and questioned us while looking at us like we were lying. Like she was nice up until then, and then gave us the stink eye and her demeanorchanged. We can pay, and we always tip, so we are not the typical cheating customer. So her attitude was unwarranted.
Had an awful experience at the 3150 S Orlando Dr, Sanford location where I walked out before I even got my food. I was still craving chicken and breakfast food so I drove all the way to this location. Completely different feel the moment I walked in. Every one seemed to have more energy, seemed happier and clearly had better training. My waitress was amazing she made sure I had everything I needed before I had the chance to ask. Next time I'll drive the extra distance and come to this location it was definitely worth it
Lovely waiters and waitresses and the food tastes good. The only reason for 4 out of 5 is the food has come out cold the last two times. The first time we didn't say anything, but this time we did. The staff were quick to offer it to be remade, we opted for it to be microwaved as we don't like waste - so I can't fault them there. It's just disappointing that we had to get it warmed up - my wife and I were there for a lazy lunch and had no time restrictions, but it does make me wonder if we'll go there if I we have somewhere to be at a certain time.
Better than average. Typically at the time visiting (Sunday morning) most IHOP's have a line waiting. This location is a boon for the customer: access is not easy, due to construction which makes this location less frequented. In turn, this benefits the quality of the food placed in the window!!!
Came here at about 6pm on a December night, and had the gift of having Melanie as our server. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, and she was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to us all night. She had our food out in 10 minutes! Me and my significant other had a very pleasant evening.Thank you Melanie for giving us such a great night!
