I bought four dishes to test out this restaurant for the first time and give it a solid two. Nothing stood out as delicious, unfortunately, but three of them were mediocre. One was not good at all. Service was very quick, price is a little on the high side for what you receive, but quality of food is sub par. If it’s your only choice and you want something fast, go for it. But if you want decent Chinese food, there are several others just to the south in nearby Lake Mary. You would be happier at the food court at the mall.
Today was my first time there. I ordered a simple steamed vegetable with steamed white rice. The rice was from before yesterday, if you know about rice cooker you ll know you can keep rice in it up to 3 days. The rice grain was smoochy and started desintagrating. . It’s color was off white, it was starting to turn yellow. The steamed vegetables : some were fresh some were FERMENTED . I had to spit it out in a towel. I asked for a refund AND she obviously know her mal practices because instead to apoligized she told me a lot of bad things in Chinese and to never come back in English. My health is my life and my wallet. Therefore I am following her advice and will not return after she refunded me of course. The place looks run down and dirty but I thought maybe the cooking was wonderful. i was way WRONG. NASTY food. WATCH OUT!!!!
The lady on the phone was told we had three orders, when we arrived she was upset because she had to split them out. She was so aggravated and tossed the bag on the counter. We ordered Honey Chicken and most of it was only breading. We ordered Wonton Soup and most of it was only noodle no meat, the broth had no flavor. I would give this place a negative review if I could.
The amount of food you get fir 7 dollars here won’t fill you up at all Chinese star it’s better. Don’t go to this Chinese II
This Has to be the worst Chinese restaurant if you can call it a restaurant in Sanford. I added a photo of the toddler size food that you get for $30 and it tasted horrible!! I had to toss half of it I couldn’t even get it down. I only went here because it’s a Monday and all the other Chinese food restaurants are closed on Mondays I told the girl behind the counter I will never go there again she acted like she didn’t care. This place makes me appreciate my regular spot China Star by walmart.. go there instead of here this place is the worst, again I say the worst restaurant in Sanford. do not go here you’re wasting your money if you do… I did

We have used this takeout for seven years and, up until recently, have enjoyed their food. Our last few orders, however, have been absolutely awful, especially last evening! Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and could not even eat it, literally spit it out. It seems they use fish and/or oyster sauce in all their dishes now and they use entirely too much. (Kung Pao doesn’t even require fish sauce ?). Sad because it is so convenient but it was truly horrible.
Love the food, I’ve been ordering food from this restaurant for years. Their special fried rice is the best !
They are always very efficient with their service and the food is amazing.????
