Food was delicious. I had fried catfish and it was seasoned and fried perfectly. The smothered porkchop was average. I would definitely recommend!!
Good food and friendly service. We were never without. The staff constantly checked in on us ...even long after we were done eating. We stayed and just talked because the atmosphere was so comfortable and homey. I hope to be back
My first and last visit. Food was good but not good enough to make me want to return. The three girls who were serving (?) were rude and dismissive. It was NOT necessary to treat people the way they did. The owners might want to consider hiring people who don’t act bothered and interrupted when someone comes in and aske a few questions and wants to order.Very sad ……
I ordered via door dash. I received a huge portion of smothered porkchops and I just ate the best baked beans I've ever had. Give this hidden gem a try!
Food was great! Desert was great! Service was great! Portions was great! Fried catfish could have been fried a little longer and maybe two pieces instead of one. Drinks w were very sweet, but overall my husband, kids and I were very satisfied. Will be returning! Smothered pork chops and cabbage was my favorite
After watching one these women eating with her bare hands licking her fingers and all (she has the black hair tied to the back with no letters on her shirt)on a live broad cast called bigo then she goes to wipe her face and pull the back of her pants up THEN serve some food with no MASK ALL OF THEM gloves or hair net as well and you can hear ONE OF them coughing in the back It's an ABSOLUTELY NO!!!!! The health dept needs to be on the look out for this!!!!! THIS IS DISGUSTING AND COVID IS STILL OUT!!!!!?
So glad to have finally tried this place. This Soul food really took me back to my childhood. Mac and cheese was unbelievable, black eyed peas, the corn muffin, the sweet ribs! Even the corn was awesome! I'm so full right now, but I can't wait to go again.
The food was so good! I had he smothered pork chops, mac n cheese and candied yams. The yams were a bit too sweet for my taste but besides that it's nice to find a good soul food spot in central Florida. Bonus: I have a nut allergy so I'm happy they don't use peanut oil.
I was quite disappointed in my most recent meals purchased on Friday. The food taste was lacking. There were good portion sizes, however, as I stated the taste took away from desiring to eat any remaining food as leftovers.MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN!!!The woman that waited on me for pick up had a bit of an attitude.
Pretty good. Not great though. Price was a bit high for the amount of food you get. I eat there again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
