I have ordered from here several times and while the service has never been great, I really enjoyed the food. Today I’m extremely disappointed and will never eat here again. I ordered a hibachi steak and chicken and some other appetizers and sushi. Everything was great (although it was ready 30 minutes after it was supposed to be as usual) except the hibachi. Our steak was thrown on top completely raw. Not rare, fully raw and unsafe to eat and just plain gross. It was not the center of the steak it was all edges and corners showing fully red raw meat. I try to be understanding and call to explain the situation asking for a refund for only the hibachi meal, not the full order. Was passed around to about 3 different people on the phone until the manager spoke to me and was extremely rude and condescending trying to explain that hibachi is supposed to be served medium rare and I should have specified for well done. I told him I didn’t want well done I like medium rare steak I don’t like RAW MEAT. He then said “it’s not my fault you got raw meat” and refused a refund. Who’s fault is it then? Pics below, those are not pieces that have been bitten into, it was served like that. i advise staying away from this restaurant.

I got the passion roll, crab rangoon, and spring rolls. I was worried trying this place after reading some of the negative reviews, but I think most of them were just Karens because the sushi is some of the best I've tried and the crab rangoon was also perfectly crispy. The spring rolls were about average, nothing Earth-shattering but flavorful and good texture. It was definitely worth the money ☺️

The food is delicious. But the portions are so small. I ordered take out and went to pick it up and stood in the quiet restaurant for at least 8 minutes waiting for someone to say something or come out and help. That was really strange. I think they should work on having more bodies in the store to help, as well as reconsider their portions to match the price.

This is a pretty good choice for hibachi and sushi. The service has been good for every visit. It's not too overcrowded. The food has been consistently good for taste and presentation.It's in a plaza parking lot so plenty of parking options.When you go in you have a choice between the hibachi table or regular booth/table. I personally haven't tried the hibachi tables but we have ordered the hibachi meals and those have all been good.

Honestly the most horrible food I’ve ever ordered from a public place. I ordered sashimi & well just look at the picture. Genuinely concerned for Salmenela so that went to the trash. The “aged “ tofu was soggy tempura flavorless nugs of the worlds most moist tofu... the fish looks so suspect on each roll. Nothing at all looks fresh.... the passion roll was “okay”. It tasted like a spicy rice ball. No real fish taste ... even though there’s fish?.... miso soup was old and tasted awful, cucumber salad was literally warm soggy cucumber strips lol… anywho my man ordered the Hibachi combo . The salmon and chicken were cooked okay. The small amount of noodles that came tasted like frozen noodles. Uncultured noodles LOL… The “mixed vegetables” you can tell were frozen. There was nothing fresh and the plating was terrible. Also the “white sauce” has a semen consistency. Nothing was good or good for you lol. It’s like “I know this is gas station food” And what’s worse is I paid $53 for all that because you guys have either fake or outdated reviews and for some reason are on Uber. As a business owner you can tell this was just something they opened. No consideration for human stomachs.. please save yourselves the time money and disappointment.

Food here is pretty good, seems like a nice family owned place.I got a Philly Roll and some hibachi. Philly roll was really good, hibachi was just alright.Service was attentive and the price was very reasonable for the sushi.

Had the most amazing experience at Akira sushi. Not only is their sushi and other dishes delicious but they have the kindest staff. We had ordered from Uber eats and when our food was accidentally taken from the wrong driver they had went out of their way to call us and stay open past their closing time to ensure that they remade our order. Truly Excellent service.

We absolutely love this place we moved here a few months ago and honestly it’s the only place that my family and I truly love!! Chef Alan is absolutely wonderful; he always makes us feel like we’re part of the family there. The food is so good!! If I could I come back everyday !!

Okay so before I write my review, I want to make it clear that my review is intended for Sushi Sensei. I can't find this place anywhere. I ordered with them through DoorDash. It shows the same address as this Akira place, so I'm unsure if maybe Akira is now Sushi Sensei?? Or maybe it's next door???Either way, I ordered their "rainbow roll", "spicy tuna roll", and their "gyoza". Everything was so fresh and delicious!! The spicy tuna was REALLY spicy, I loved it. My only complaint is that I ordered steamed gyoza but received it deep fried instead. It was delicious though, so I'm not really upset lol.
