Waffle house serving the St Pete area.What can I say? It's Waffle House. You either love it or you have never been to one.The staff here are excellent. They are fast and the food is cheap. The menu selection is small so ordering is easy. Quality over quantity.Everything is delicious and bad for you. Everything tastes like everything that has ever touched the griddle. Don't ever change Waffle House.Anthony Bourdain's highest recommendation.
The food here is great. I got excellent service and the food came fast and hot. I'm very picky sometimes so believe me when I say it has good food. I definitely recommend eating here if your in the area .
The food was wonderful and the hostess was great. I would like to thank Kali, my hostess, for the absolutely wonderful service and the cook for the great meal. Me and my family had no problems at all and had a blast of a time. I would have to say this is one of the best waffle houses I have encountered.
The ladies were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The orders were taken quickly and accurately; our food was prepared perfectly and so dang fast!! Jem recommended the grilled chicken breast and it was the best I've ever had... No lie. Seasonings were on point and my hashbrowns were the perfect mix of crispy and tender.
Service was slow for 7 people behind the counter. Eggs not fully cooked. Couldn't eat them. Bacon wasn't fully cooked & had stale taste. Also didn't get bacon until after 3/4 of meal was gone (what I could eat) only things I could eat was waffle and hashbrowns. Messed up other orders at tables around me and took 15 mins for their's to get fixed. I wasn't waiting around. Worst waffle house I have ever been too!
Parking lot looks like a dumpster was dumped. Food doesn't come out together. Staff and management are argumentative. Wouldn't recommend this waffle house to any one. Worst waffle house I've been in. I travel coast to coast. Cooks hair wasn't covered,was all over the place. Whole place needs an overhaul.
I sat there for an hour and received no service. the workers were doing side work instead of helping us. our server was only helping the to go customers and we watched people who came in after us receive their food. we were only given a fork and a spoon, waited so long and didn't even get our waters. took 20 minutes for her to even give us the silverware.
I went in person at 11pm at night and it was not busy by any means (I am a bartender and server so I do know) and was told I could not place a to go order. All I wanted was a breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns. They had a stack full of take out tuberware in plain view. I offered to even tip $10 as I needed to get home asap. The waiter tried to do it but the cook refused. What a shame I always loved Waffle House but this location is clearly trash.
I usually order a waffle and coffee but sometimes I'll go for the waffle with eggs grits bacon coffee etc. I'm all cases, I was served promptly and each server was very attentive to my needs (refills on coffee). The only exception was when I got a new server just out of training but she was supported by more experienced crew.
cracker barrel across the street and waffle House was in the same parking lot as the hotel ? nice to go to eat at waffle House was the first one that had the cooking in sight of the customers people pay hundreds of dollars to get to sit around and watch the chef show off his skills as well as the proper knife skills in cooking is not just for your safety but seems like the shop teacher was always a few fingers missing I guess it's what he was teaching for not out in the world building for a living
