The food and service here is 5 stars! I ate here two times in one week - it was so good I had to come back. The people who work here are exceptionally nice - they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Tonight we were helped by Nick — four adults and four wild kids — he was so accommodating and welcoming.Service, vibe, attentiveness — amazing…. But now…THE FOOD. My GOODNESS!!!! The food is amazing. AMAZING. ALL of it. The food, the drinks… 5 stars!Highly, highly recommended. The people here are doing it right!

Go here! It's a nice joint. Nothing fancy, but clean and moody and cool on a hot day that begs for cold beverages. Prices are fair for a decent pour, lots of beer choices and promos every day of the week. They also serve specials, including frozen things, fruity things, get-twisted-quick things, wine things. Thirsty First is a great stop off on 1st Ave North, on the quieter end of the street, close to the waterfront. Big enough for you and all your rowdy friends! I was there mid-day and my favorite part was the lack of blaring sportsball on giant, imposing televisions. Good music, attentive staff, and cold beverages. Get off Central for a minute and give this place a chance.
Absolute TRASH, service is poor, food is cold. Expect 45 minutes to get food and rude comments from the wanna-be fashion nova- model servers. Avoid.. so many better options in DTSP
The owner was very rude to us. Just keep in mind if they are apart of a crawl to AVOID THIS FAR AND AWAY. They WILL charge you if you or a friend gets sick. I would rate this bar less then a 1 star if I could. First and last time we will ever be here. They only give you a spray bottle and napkins to clean up anything. Lazy and none OSHA compliant. Only good part was the server was kind.
Nice places and good service in the downtown area of Saint Petersburg, but when we went, they frozen drink are no working when we went. They were highly recommended by friends. We only have fries and a few beers and cocktails. Good price and good service. I Wanna go Back again and try the frozen drinks.

First time here. Work nearby. Cool place. Good food, but the short skinny bartender with the half sleeve was terrible. In like every way. No greeting, no food suggestions, when i asked about what drafts she had she pointed at em on the wall. I tried to spark small talk with a mention of gas prices in a desperate attempt to just even be acknowledged and i was ignored while she continued to chat it up with another girl eating there. I dont get how you be become a bartender if you already hate everyone who walks in. Ill go to five bucks down the block next time, they are way nicer.
Yoo It’s ya fave foodie! Yesterday I got some food and drinks from thirsty first and they didn’t disappoint! First of all they have a pedialite drink w alcohol ? it tasted awesome! and Greg the owner said it was great for the hungover crowd and I believe it! We ordered a whole bunch of stuff as you can see but my fave was the Philly cheese steak! great bread, meat perfectly seasoned, super soft not over cooked I could eat like 1 or 3 ?check out my full video review on Fb and YouTube ! It took an hour to get 1 appetizer and 2 entrees (a burger & french toast) the kitchen was so unbelievably slow. The burger was good enough. The french toast was bad, just limp, small pieces of bread made soggy by a soupy strawberry foam on top. Forgot to take pics but it wasn't pretty. Again, it took an hour to get what should've been a quick bite. Bartender very nice.
