Best crepes hands down! I got a "Create your own savory" salmon, cucumber, and dill sauce crepe and had to stop myself from licking the plate clean (although I would've done it with minimal shame). Service was fast and pleasant and the restaurant was gorgeous and rustic. I felt like I was sitting in a modern farmhouse dining room with 10 tables. I love Love LOVE this place!
Not a huge wait around 11am on a Saturday, ordering at counter was easy although I wish picking up your coffee was a bit easier process instead of a girl yelling once what the drink was and setting it on a small counter area with no ticket/label to say who it belongs to. Great outdoor seating area and dog friendly, our two types of gluten-free crêpes were pretty decent, one was very overcooked on the edges and chewy in the middle, and I wish the Apple Melt had some more flavor to it and it was skimped out on the brie cheese, but I would definitely try it again!
I had no idea this place existed until we accidentally came across it going to the Saturday Morning Market- and WOW! The food is delicious!!! The line was out the door and it took us about an hour from the moment we walked in, until we actually received our food, so do not go if you are in a rush. But the food was AMAZING! We all got something different off the menu and shared, and every single thing I tasted was great.
Reasonable quality food, extremely slow service, even for carry out. Not worth the wait, today or again.
Good place to have breakfast, food made to order, fresh and delicious. Awesome strong coffee. The morning we went the wait was pretty long but it was worth it.
Mixed berry salad excellent . Fresh berries and generous goat cheese . Friendly servers
We were expecting the food to be so good, but unfortunately it was just okay. My husband got the tomato soup, which he said was good. I got the Fruitelicious crepe and it was okay. It had ham in it for some reason. The crepe was thicker and it didn't really taste like crepes I have had in the past. The fruit on the crepe was the best part for me.
The menu was limited to crepes which was fine and we both enjoyed what we had. The coffee and service were very good. The place is not very big but was comfortable. I would go back.
This review is long overdue! Maybe that's a good thing though. For the past 2 years since happily discovering Wooden Rooster, they have provided me with consistently excellent customer service. My go-to crepe is a gf egg white with caramelized onion and fresh tomatoes on the side. Hot, delicious and a very generous proportion each time. I enjoy eating at the restaurant both inside and out and depend on their delicious crepes delivered to my door near monthly now. Thank you for making it easy to get healthy food anywhere. I hope you are around for a very long time.
Wonderful atmosphere especially if you want to just relax for a bit. The selection of crepes are amazing from sweet to savory. My favorite is the crepe monsieur with the bachamel sauce. I was skeptical but it's good. There is a selection of syrups for your coffee drinks to include pistachio which is really good. The staff are amazing, warm and friendly. They were kind enough to lend me a phone charger for my stay. Very kind, they didn't have to, but they still did.All around wonderful people and a wonderful place.
