We came to the PP instead of BJ’s just because we liked the name better. Great thing we did! The Pelican has the perfect combination of drinks, live music, and friendliness as any place I’ve been in the Gulf area. This is not a 5 star restaurant (if you didn’t get that from the name please fell free to stop reading now)… You’re still with me? Good; let’s get to it… Food: great pub food. Gotta try the fried grouper basket. Not into seafood? Try the wings; they were great (and I’m from Buffalo). Staff: Awesome. Wish Cathy a belated 29th birthday. We spoke with the manager a few times great guy and very personable.. Prices: reasonable for the area Ambiance: get a seat outside to catch live music from 6-9. Seats undercover and out of the sun. Summary: Take a night to stop by the Pesky Pelican. It was a great time!

I got the ribs which were good, somewhat dry, the main problem I had was the side of Mac n cheese. It was from a box like the Kraft Mac n cheese and it tasted and looked like the box it came in. Beer was cold, staff very nice. Food was just ok.

My husband enjoyed this place several years ago when we were in St Pete. My husbands aunt and I decided to try tonight. We enjoyed the live music and the food. I had the prime rib au jus sandwich and she had the quesadilla without meat. She had a mimosa and I had the raspberry wheat beer. The beer was good but darker than I usually like. The live music was nice, not too intrusive for small dining room. The waiter was very nice and polite. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Really enjoyed our group’s evening here! Twelve of us, no problem, Jacob did an outstanding job as our server. Food was excellent. You have to stay for dessert! The ooey-gooie cake is award winning! Don’t miss it. Definitely stop in for some warm hospitality and great food!

We so enjoyed our visit! Fast, friendly service and a great St Louis nod!!!!

Found this place on Google and gave it a shot. Off the beaten path is a good description, weren't quite sure where we were headed or what we were in for, but found a great place. Heavy emphasis on St. Louis, obvious in the decor and the..... cheese. Pizza is described as St Louis Style, ultra thin crust and Provel cheese (a mix of provolone, Swiss and cheddar). Started with toasted ravioli, and they were excellent. The pizza was good, great beer selection and a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely worth the trek off the beaten path for this one.

Just ordered take out, it's really good!! The portions are large enough to share. We tried the Prime Rib Cheesesteak...it melts in your mouth. I would highly recommend it with their homemade chips with a side of ranch.

Their St. Louis style pizza and fried ravioli are spot on! The ribs offered only on Thursdays fell off the bone. I barely even needed my fork to dig in. And the portion was great, I had plenty for lunch the next day. Super casual local's pub. Nice live music. Good beer selection.

Great place, great people, great food, great service, and great band. The Tiki Brothers band rocked. Moe'st Everything Muse the music shop was the sound reinforcement. Over all a great night out. And all rapped up by 10:30. Will be back again. ?✌️❤️?☝️✝️???????? ? ??

Quick service upon sitting down. But once we had our drinks and appetizer the waitress never came back. We were 1 of 3 tables with customers. Staff seemed more concerned with socializing at the bar. We had to approach the bar after waiting 15-20 minutes to ask to order our meals. Grouper bites and fries was great. Coleslaw was like eating globs of mayo. Lobster Mac n Cheese was dry.
