What a great experience for my pup! They have you register and show your dogs vaccine records which is very nice knowing my dog is playing with other healthy vaxxed dogs. They say you can leave your dog alone in the grassy area but I never think that’s a great idea when this many dogs are together. There is staff watching pups with a spray bottle but they shouldn’t be solely responsible for your pup. The drinks were great with good prices and everyone was very nice. We will def be back!
It doesn't get better than this ;) A wonderful place where everybody's dog is registered they've got God little pools filled with ice and the dogs jump in them and cool their paws and jump out I mean it's just wonderful. Small dog side and a big dog side and so fantastic place to socialize hang out I think there's seat 3 separate bars 3 separate styles. Staff has just been wonderful I've been going for 2 years :) The best part about the place is that gigantic white Great Dane hes amazing!! ?
Absolutely loved the Dog Bar so much that I said YES! when asked if I'd like to go back twice within a week during my stay on vacation.I wish Austin had something comparable but they're not nearly as executed as The Dog Bar! Great music, great folks running it, great guests both human and doggos! Love the entire setup and the wooferees. ??
I have two very pieceful great Danes nevertheless this morning one of them got attacked by another dog, the other dog bite me too and the stuff of the dog bar behaved like nothing happen, treated the other owner and give tol other dog onwer another alcoholic drink. If the dog owner is drunk and cannot handle is dog he should be thrown away from bar not treated with the respect and amired that his dog hurt another dog and another human. Definitely they should reconsider the alcohol license of that place. I hope that place will get should down or the owner will wake up and bring responsible stuff on board.
I had brought my English bulldog here. He was living his best life. The place itself is a great bar. They don't serve food but they always seems to have some sort of food truck out front. The down side was that you get irresponsible dog owners. my dog was sitting on my feet and we were in a corner far away from others. My dog is a happy go lucky dog who doesn't even bark. A gentleman came in with his two big dogs who came and attacked mind. The owner did absolutely nothing.
Honestly, I'm surprised I've never reviewed Dog Bar over the years and I'm just realizing this. I absolutely recommend Dog Bar 10 Stars if I could. It's a local hangout for us Humans and our 2 Dogs Mowgli and Bagheera. Great service and events throughout the month. Great Food Truck vendors when you're hungry. Trivia, Bingo, and DJ nights. A ton of fun events for your furbabies as well like costume contest, foam parties, etc. Go check it out. Slower during the week days before the evening if you'd to introduce your furbabies before it picks up later. They have Wooferees in the play areas as well to help out as needed. They do require your furbabies to be up to date on the necessary health items like any other pet facility here. So check out their website for what you need to have and the rules before you arrive. LOVE this place and so do my fur-kids!!! No better way to spend an outing than with your pups AND at a bar! Great selection, and the pups have a BLAST!!!
Went with the girlfriend's family and all their dogs and it was just absolutely wonderful! The people running it are super nice and the drinks were phenomenal and dog themed so that was cool. They're great at handling the dogs and it was just overall fun!
Hands down the BEST bar in St. Pete. If you ever need to have a good time, sharing drinks with these fur friends is the best way to do it. Our dogs love it here! Great vibes, great music and the bartenders are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Wow! We were blown away! Great for the doggos and the hoomans. The area is fenced in and allows for the dogs to move about a great deal! Be sure to bring your vaccination papers for your doggos. You have to sign up one time either there or online. The food trucks they have there at night are the best. We had tacos, quesadillas, rice and beans etc. They have a full bar and plenty of places to sit. I think parking might be difficult sometimes. The owner/manager was super friendly. The staff was professional and efficient. They had bingo and a DJ.
