The woman working here was unspeakably rude to me. I came for coffee but was enchanted by the fancy teas and pretty cups, so I shopped for a while. Perhaps 10 minutes. I had selected a couple of things, but left them on the shelves to use their (publicly visible and accessible) restroom. A couple of minutes later the woman knocked on the door, loudly asking if “I was ok”. Bizarre. I came out, texting a friend to ask if she wanted something from the shop, and noticed this woman was standing there with her arms folded, glaring *daggers* at me. Positively murdering me with her eyes. I look up, and she demands to know if there’s “anything I can help you with in MY store???”.I was so taken aback, and realized she must have thought I was stealing. I had my backpack, because I thought they had proper indoor seating and planned to have coffee and work. I didn’t want to escalate with this woman, since escalating with people like that never accomplishes anything. So I stayed as polite as I could, and commented that I was trying to choose between two ($33/box) teas. I asked her if she had ever tried them, and, still glaring at me, she snaps that she’s never tried any of them. Ooooookay, cool.So I grab my tea, buy some chocolates, abandon the idea of getting coffee here, and leave. The first couple of chocolates I had were fine. The third tasted a bit musty and off. I bit into the fourth and set it down, then noticed it was full of mold. So, yeah.I know food spoilage happens. You couldn’t see it-it was inside the shell of chocolate. However, between that and the incredibly rude staff member, I won’t be back and can’t recommend it to anyone else either.
Came here today for a small dessert after having brunch for Mothers Day. I can’t say enough great things very cute store with lots of stuff, our attendant was amazing and super friendly, and amazing tasting ice cream. I got butterscotch sea salt caramel. I will definitely be going back and will be recommending. Thank you!!!
Sweet, creative and decadent treats that exceed expectation. My new favorite dessert spot. Their creations are truly works of art. Great outdoor dining space and delicious treats for every pallette.
It is one of my favorite places to buy chocolates and cookies. I love cordial cherries in dark chocolate and candied orange peel covered in dark chocolate. People who work there are very professional and friendly. They give excellent recommendations.
Ooey gooey and oh so delicious! This ice cream is packed with flavor and has a creamy texture. Nice staff and charming environment. I'm gonna be a regular!
My wife and I stayed in downtown St Pete to celebrate our tenth anniversary. I called Sweet Divas a week before and asked if they could make a small cake for me to give to her, and have it delivered to Ruth's Chris for our dessert. Christy was wonderful and baked the cake to my specifications and it was delivered there and we received it for dessert without any issues. And it was Deeeelicious. Thanks again for doing that Christy and we will certainly stop back by the next time we are in St Petersburg.
Yes they sell a few artisan chocolates and a selection of not ordinary treats along with baked good and coffee and soft drinks. It's list at 400 Beach Drive but you won't find it facing the street. It's a little shop on the side of the building. Wife liked. Me, meh.
Wedding guest for my niece’s wedding and was looking forward to tasting the cake she ordered. Very disappointed because what she ordered was not given to her. Instead Sweet Divas decided to pick their own flavors and give her the wedding cake “they” wanted. I thought the customer got to pick their own flavors. Apparently not! Also the lady kept trying to convince my niece to pick a different color for the cake! Ummm no. Please check your orders because you might not get what you want.
Visited on 1.4.22. The women at the register could not have been more rude. Horrible customer service. She might prefer working at a morgue.
Clean place in a nice location,, amazing homemade chocolates....lots of flavors
