Good Food Fast Friendly Service
The food here was amazing! I had their chicken taquitos and they were great! The rice and beans were great as well. I loved the outdoor seating and mood of the place. The only thing that wasn't too great were the tamales but that's understandable. (Homemade tamales really are the best). Not bad enough to make me give it less than 5 stars! Definitely recommend going here!!!
Food quality and taste profile - great. Service and ordering ease - simple and quick. Ambiance (outdoor eating space) - pleasant and spacious. Two of us really enjoyed our entrees of Frito Pie - with tasty Pork Cordoba protein and Shrimp Burrito, a sizeable and sumptious wrap. They offer window-service cocktails as well, and the various margaritas we tried were quite fresh and made with quality tequila, if a bit small in serving glass size. I wish they had more self-serve salsa options and offered free chips with the meals, which would have earned 5 star rating. But this was a great eatery find on the busy race weekend, just a few blocks from the tourist clog on Central Ave. Certainly recommend.
Perfect stop. Great location and facility, we were a party of 8 sat on the front patio on a late Thursday evening. Quick service and a wide selection on their menu. I’m vegetarian and got a great tofu taco and the Cadillac Margarita, skinny less sugar and right amount of tequila. Great elote, street corn, also from the crew good review of the chicken tacos and fish. Definitely a fun stop with good food, quick service, and a clean facility.
My brother was in town over the holidays and this is one of my favorite restaurants in St Pete. Laid back, hipster cool and great food. I always get the fabulous shrimp burrito. So very good . My brother had one of the taco bowls and couldn't eat it all . So I gladly helped him. He's a red neck from the great state of Alabama, but he loved it still. lol. it's definitely worth trying out. My wife and I eat there every time we're in St Pete. Good food. Courtesy staff , clean facility. Try it out.
The queso and mint margarita

Red Mesa Mercado is a nice establishment with large outdoor covered seating. The menus are displayed on large TV's making it easy to read. In most cases the ordering is easy and the food is brought out quickly. Do note that it is a popular place and sometimes it can get busy.We will definitely be returning again.
