Came into St Pete, from St Pete Beach via the trolley. Came here after it got good reviews from Trip Advisor...wasn't disappointed. Got seated immediately (middle of the week), sat outside...love the water features and the metal art/sculptures. Had house white wine, the Chardonnay which was very drinkable. We decided to try a duck taco and a fish taco as a starter because they looked good. They were both very good, but the standout was the duck Amazeballs. The husband ordered steak (Birria) quesadillas which came with a very strong dipping sauce. He really enjoyed them. I ordered the Seafood Monfogo...the best meal for me on this holiday. It was fresh tasting, the.plantain was great and the pork worked surprisingly well with the seafood. Waitress was great, and helpful with suggestions. Think we'll be going back for our last night of the hols.

Trendy Neighborhood Gem. Good drinks and tasty dinner choices. Outdoor seating available. Fun youthful vibe. Try the seafood mofongo and El Viejo drink.

Great place and experience for us overall! On a busy weekend night, they nicely greeted us and seated us in less than 10 minutes. The server was equally as pleasant and attentive. Shared her recommendations but didn’t push her ideas. We had the pulled pork burrito and the steak tacos. With their local beer and their house margarita. The outside seating and around the little water feature made it experience more memorable. The only bad part of the evening was that the mens restroom was on the second floor only accessible by an elevator. I also liked it that it was a block off the main strip that is much busier with more restaurants, people, public parties, etc.

We tried this place out last night for the first time. The food was really good and the drinks were ok. Our server was fantastic! Exceptionally friendly, informative and attentive. The overall ambiance throughout the restaurant is really great as well. I would recommend giving it a shot! The menu pricing was pretty good given its downtown St. Pete location. They have menu options for kids too. We will definitely be back.

So sad that they gave up on vegetarian accomodation by giving up the tofu option as a protien. Now vegetarian menu is very limited. Went retro I guess. Back to 2002 when st.pete had very few vegetarian options. For a while this was 5 stars but now not good for vegetarians. We will have to find a new Mexican place to dine. So sad.

Very rarely do I see a place do well in all areas.Service (5 stars) Luis, our server was amazing. Visited our table the right amount of times to make sure we always had water and were well taken care of. Not once did we ask “where is this guy?“Food (5 stars) The food was outstanding. We ordered sweet plantains and empanadas, duck taco and steak taco as our appetizers, huevos rancheros and Palomilla as our entrees. Everything was outstanding, the portions were perfect, not too big, not too small, perfect amount.Ambience (5 stars) the bamboo, the water, the music, everything takes you to a very calm atmosphere where you can relax and really enjoy your meal. Amazing time. PS: even on windy days you can sit outside because there’s a big brick building adjacent to the restaurant that really protects from the wind.Cleanliness (5 stars) everything was very clean and well taken care of.

What looked like a rather basic place actually served some darn good food. I was very impressed with my seafood dish and my friend gave praise to the duck tacos. Pricing was fair considering the area and they have an excellent tequila selection.
