I thought this place was great before they got the new oven and since they got a bigger one the pizza is another level.Honey Boo Boo pizza with a light bake is where it is! I made sure get a large so I had leftovers.They warning is: the pizza sometimes does take a while because they can only cook so much at a time but it is worth the wait!
Good pizza. I'm new to Florida and St. Pete. I have had pizza at a variety of places using Google reviews in the area. Let's provide context as well. I'm Italian and from the Northeast, which most would agree has the country's best thin pizza. Pizza Box is good. However, as with many other places in downtown St. Pete, the pizza is tiny (like pizza for elementary school kids) and expensive. In the Norhteast, you can get one slice of pizza for $3 that is nearly as big as an entire Pizza Box small pizza at $15. Pizza Box has very good crust. However, they put too much cheese (I would go light cheese or very light next time) and you can't taste the sauce, so I can't even review the sauce. Also, if you get a meat topping (I tried the classic and the meat pizza) there is hardly any meat on it at all. I would say for the crust, which is hard to get right aside from good sauce, is the best in St. Pete. I would definitely go again, but just order large and maybe get two if you are used to NY pizza and depending on your cheese needs, keep in mind they go heavy. Good stuff, but tiny, and pricey is what I would give as a summary.
Had a great experience. The pizza was awesome. We got the Lover Boy which was great. Will for sure be back!
What’s going on foodies it’s your fave local vlogger last night I had PIZZA BOX for the first time….I know I know lol but hey better late then never. I ordered the Carnivore Pizza House San Marzano tomato sauce, boar's head shredded mozzarella, house-made meatballs, boar's head pepperoni I also added garlic lol when it came out it looked different then expected not gonna lie lol Diced pepperoni? Shaved meatballs? The crust was perfectly charred sauce tasted delicious and the diced pepperoni hit different! All I can say is wow great pizza! Wow! We seen the reviews and figured we would give it a try. The owners/operators have an amazing positive attitude. I heard them offer a very generous military discount to a Veteran. The pizza exceeded my expectations. It is worth the stop to give this locally owned place an opportunity to earn your business.
Wow.. really amazing!!We happened to go to downtown and we got hungry and was looking for a pizza to eat, we found this place with small door and it took us by surprise. We ordered classic margarita and it was amazing. Fresh cheese, delicious tomato sauce, and basil leaves on top. Must try and staff were very friendly too!!
Took my boys, 12 & 14, for a boys night out dinner and loved every bite! The breadsticks dipped in marinara and goat cheese was delicious, plus we used our pizza crust to scoop it all up. Cool vibe, great food. Definitely going back soon.

The food and the atmosphere was really good here. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it was costly. Other than that everything was awesome. The food had a nice lightly smoked flavor. We plan to eat from here again sometime. Probably takeout or delivery the next time.
