We started picking our pizzas up after too many times of sitting for long periods of time waiting for an acknowledgement. We were told 40 to 45 minutes for pickup and arrive to be told to wait by a very rude hostess. She wouldn't even let us pick the pizza up at the counter??? Now a cold, super thin garbage pizza. What happened to you guys? We as well as our friends won't be back.
Stopped by Sat 4/23/22 around 7:15PM. Was seated right away and ordered food. Poppers and the Italian Stallion pizza. Poppers came out in about 10 minutes. There were not good. Clearly they are not made on site but frozen poppers that are fried because they were cold in the middle.The biggest problem really was the time it took for the pizza to come out. It was literally 45 minutes from the time we ordered until it was delivered to our table. During this time, the waitress would check on it and come back and tell us "5 minutes more..." This happened twice and it was still another 10-12 minutes after her checking the second time before the pizza was done. I can understand that wait times can vary depending on how busy it is but the place was not busy. In the area our table was located, there were maybe 5 other tables that were vacant. Only two table in that are had patrons. Us an another table.The pizza tasted OK, but was very greasy. I kept burping up that grease the remainder of the evening.We had a concert that we were going to that evening and arrived later than planned due to the long wait time for the pizza.In short, if you're pressed for time, this is not the pace for you.
It was ok; kind of hard to be fair being from the Chicagoland area. Great place to bring kids, they catered to them very well!!
I use to live down here and loved coming here. Its been about 5 yrs and my mom and I revisited for lunch. We had a margarita pizza and 2 beers. It was everything and then some we had been missing! Goes to show why they've been in business for over 45 yrs! Going to make it back down to 4th street more often and this is 1 on the list!! ? ?❤
Food was delish our service was meh. We were in town to run the Skyway and were looking for carbs. We were seated and the table wasn’t that clean.we asked server for a cloth the wipe it down and she stated she didn’t know where they were? What?salads were delivered quickly and were yummy. Then we waited for a bit then our food was delivered, again all very tasty. We wondered what happened to the appetizer we ordered. It was delivered after our main dishes ? . Like I said food amazing service not so much.
Great family owned pizza place!Went to dinner with a friend and had their special ultimate pizza with butter garlic drizzled over it. (Special request)They work hard, and it comes through with the food as well. My favorite pizza place as of now, for sure! ???
So, personally my first time. Not super impressed, at all. I got the salad and soup bar, not much to it. The soup wasn't even hot which I'm not sure is a good idea. Most people like hot soup or at least I do. My husband order the sausage sub. It didn't look appealing and it was a bit dry. My nephew did not like his cheese pizza at all. I will say, the have excellent poppers and real good ranch. Which I am a ranch fan so that was a plus. It took a minute to get our drinks and my husbands drink from the bar. The carpet is very dirty and I would recommend they just tear it up completely. Carpet is bad in a restaurant for sure. However our waitress was very nice so no complaints there. I will probably try again just will try something else next time.
Went for lunch on a Friday & was very satisfied! Their white pizza with mushrooms & onions added was delicious & I'm very picky about my pizza. The crusty had a great chew & I love the addition of the garlic butter on the crust. The bartender was attentive & friendly, overall a great place!
God Bless Anne! She is the nicest, most patient bartender and deserves a raise and whatever big fat tip you can give her if you visit her in the lounge. We've been here many times for dining in and take out and this place rocks! The staff is so amazing!
Their pizza is great, but I won't order from them anymore unless its a special circumstance...Everytime I call ahead and place a pickup order, they wait until I arrive and pay before putting the pizza in the oven. So I call when I leave palm harbor, they say it'll be ready in 25, I show up in 30 and still have to wait 15 min... just not worth it, tobys across town is cheaper, better, and much faster....Calling ahead is supposed to be convenience....
