I was dropping books off at the Little Free Library next door late at night when a couple eating pizza at the table outside asked what I was up to, and upon hearing about my LFL adventures, offered me a slice of their pizza. Sounds a bit sketch, but it was really delicious. I'd definitely recommend if you have a late-night pizza craving.
Left without ordering. Pizza is way overpriced, they charge $3.50 for each topping, and they're cash-only which probably means they're pocketing the cash and avoiding their taxes. They have a sketchy ATM which they charge $3.50 to use, so if you feel like being ripped off you can use that to get cash to pay for your $25 overpriced pizza. From reading other reviews I get the sense their pizza is on par with a bowling alley. Girl at the counter probably has never heard of the term "customer service" in her life.
Order ahead by phone, bring cash. The staff is delightful, be nice to them. Don’t trash our neighborhood. See menu photo for updated prices.p.s. there’s an atm in there for y’all.
Great pizza! Order it “extra crispy” for a nice New York Style, twice-baked feel. The delivery drivers are awesome and deliver the pizza nice and hot for no delivery charge if you’re local so prepare to tip well. We always have extra cash on hand so we can get pizza here once/week.
Always my favorite slice, wings & Stromboli in St.Pete! The crew at Old NE is always on point & friendly. Cash only & I don’t have a problem with that.Making pizzas!
Pizza was absolutely terrible ? I’m pretty sure they gave me a pizza pie that had been sitting out already and did not bother to make me a fresh pie. The cheese was like plastic and the crust was hard. Also the girl told me they were taking cash only which from my experience in the food industry usually means 1 of 2 things, either the credit card machine is down or someone is trying to pocket the cash and not ring it in. Based on the quality of the pizza i received I am assuming they had an extra pizza left over so they gave me that so they could pocket the cash without ringing it up. The owner lost out on a sale and a customer, I will not be going back.
Sorry to say I was overly disappointed. The crust was so dry as though was previously cooked and sat out and then recooked with toppings. We were missing an item ordered and paid on the pizza. Our first experience - a friend had recommended. Sad
This place is pretty close to me and the pizza was pretty good. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to do much business with them as they are cash only and you have to call to order. I really take issue with cash only businesses. This makes it more hassle than it's worth even though it's really close to home. I'd be happy to pay a surcharge to use a credit card there if they offered it in the future.
I am new to the area and happened to be a little hungry so I stopped and grabbed a slice ,food was phenomenal but it was the detail as well as genuine approach some employee named Travis ,I just really appreciate your kindness and giving me a rundown of the city in a short period of time but I will be back definitely and thank you Travis Banti or whatever your name was but Again Thank You ,that day we met my life changed fresh off a divorce and custody etc etc. Be positive Spread Love Not Hate. I don’t often leave a review, but I felt like i needed too. The pizza was okay; essentially the equivalent of what you would find in an arcade or theater. On plus side, the adjoining bar was a great atmosphere. The pizza was overpriced. A large starts at $17 for a cheese pizza; any additional toppings are $3 each. I understand the logic that a large pizza will require more toppings than a small pizza and will cost more, but most of the toppings we ordered on our large pizza would not have been enough for even a small personal pizza. Finally, the person at the register quite rudely asked me to wait outside in the cold and rain with my one year old son because my he was fussing. As a parent, I of all people understand that listening to a fussing child is not an enjoyable experience, but it is unacceptable to treat anyone that way regardless of how uncomfortable it makes you.I’m not a picky person. I wanted to enjoy this place, but I was let down in every facet.
