I hate to say this, has been our favorite for years. Just seemed so run down. Out of more ice cream than had in stock. Freezer down. Pot holes in Parking. Outside just dirty. ?
This place is a complete dump and rip off. Dark, dirty, poor selection and grossly over-priced freezer burnt ice cream. A single scoop child size cup is almost $6 and its just a scoop. A double is $8, so for a family of 4, its $32 with no toppings and 2 of our flavors were freezer burnt. A half gallon of premium ice cream at Publix is the same as 1 scoop here. Both freezers were empty, they were out of half the flavors and the place is held together by duct tape and grime. Lastly, CASH ONLY! Stay away!!!
Great ice cream special flavors that the grandkids love so the price although expensive is not a concern. Double scoop 10 bucks. The service is awesome.
Located in a barn shaped building. Neat and clean inside and outside. Half of their ice cream flavors were not available. Pricey. Excellent staff
This place has seen better days. TWO freezers were broken today when we visited, one of which has been broken since at least Nov 2021. Sign outside says "48 Flavors" but they have 17 and it's a Friday afternoon!! Someone needs to invest some money into the cleaning and upgraded decor of this place. We've enjoyed their ice cream for many years but we're disheartened by the apparent lack of pride by the business owner(s).
Expensive, small portions, most flavors sold out when I was there. Plus CASH ONLY sucks.
I wanted to like this place, because it's locally owned, but it was a total dive. It looked like it needed a deep clean - cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. All the arcade games were out of order. One of the freezers was out of order, so there were many ice cream flavors unavailable. When we walked in, we were greeted by the two workers, which was nice. But then they followed us around while we tried to decide what we wanted. We felt pressured to decide right then, because they were staring at us and kept asking us if we were ready. Clean the place, fix all the broken stuff, and tell your staff to back off a little bit - it would improve this place a lot.
I took my grandson and had some ice cream and enjoyed it as much as every other time I've been there. Take cash with you because they only take cash and no credit or debit cards.
I just think it’s been a long time since this ice cream store has had a good cleaning and upgrade of any sort.
The cookie monster ice cream was good, not my first choice because they had only a handful of flavors, missing alot. Empty parking lot, thought they were closed when I got there. Cash only??? Luckily I had it on hand. Did not see an ATM, meaning they can't serve alot of people that come in.
