Had the Swordfish, and Chilean Sea Bass between myself and my spouse. The swordfish was very bland, didn't even have salt or pepper on it, but the veggies that came with it were decent. The sea bass was also very bland, almost tasted frozen. It came served over "fragrant rice" and had shrimp, sun dried tomatoes and huge pieces of green onion. The rice was maybe the worst food I've ever tasted in a restaurant. It tasted like bitter dirt. The sun dried tomatoes and onion were a weird combo and seemed like they just threw some fancy seeming veggies without thinking about what actually tastes good or works well together. The shrimp maybe were the only decent part of the meal and I smothered them in lemon. Way too overpriced. Definitely will not be back. I've had better fish at bars for 10% of the price. Almost $300 for four people, we each had about 2 drinks each, one app each, and one plate each.
My husband and I went last night for his 74th birthday dinner and we both had the 10 oz filet. I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had, perfectly seasoned, almost 3 in tall so we ordered them medium which was perfect.
This was by far our best meal we had while visiting St. Pete. The filet was one of the most delicious I have ever eaten and the oysters Rockefeller were to die for. The key lime pie was also amazing! 10/10 would recommend
We went by the restaurant last night to see about making a reservation. There was a large orange sigh on the door stating the facility was closed due to public health concerns.
Great food but absolutely the worst service and experience we have ever had. If you have children and I mean any children of any age DO NOT go here. We had children that ordered filet but were told they lost money because we were there. I would never refer any family to go there. Mind you this is a refurbished diner not 5 star dining. I know great a great dining experience this didn’t even begin to measure!
Food it absolutely amazing, the service is top notch. DO NOT expect them to answer the phone or to get reservations made correct or even at all. We called the phone number three times while standing inside the restaurant and the girl never even looked at the phone... complete joke of a receptionist. Best of luck getting in.

Arrived on Valentines without a reservation, the hostess was awesome and worked us in without a long wait and provided the GF with a rose. Food was delicious and our waiter Mike was very attentive
they were very kind of accommodating for our party of five on Valentine's night with No Reservations. great service wonderful meal definitely will be a repeat customer
We have been here for a couple of days asking where to go, everywhere that was recommended was less than 1 stars…. We stumbled across Mad Fish randomly and we are floored. It’s honestly the best food we have tasted in all of our travels. One of the best restaurants we have ever dined at ever and let’s just say, we travel more than most!
