Always a great experience when dining at El Cap~
The bacon burger or there club sammich. and sit inside at the bar preferably have a cold beer a good sandwich and listen to the banter. great atmosphere
Great burgers and plenty of nostalgia for the curious visitor. We all enjoyed the burgers and the ham & cheese sandwich was simple yet very enjoyable. I added lettuce onion and tomatoes for a full flavored lunch.
This is an interesting place. Everything on the menu is a la carte. The water is .25¢, and lemons with your water is .25¢. The onion rings were very good. They were beer battered and fresh. The burger was okay. It was think, juicy but needed salt. The patty was small and not every bite got beef in it. I ordered it medium rare, but it came medium well. It
I visited here many years ago and had a great time. This past time was just the same. We sat outside and had excellent service. The food came out quick and our drinks were never empty. The burger was good and we liked the fries. We'd love to come back.
One of the greatest burger spots in all of town. I’ve been coming to El Cap for over 20 years and it has NEVER disappointed . The burgers are a true American classic topped with perfectly melted cheese of your choice , pickles , mayo, lettuce , tomato, onion. The beer is cheap , the fries even better. The french fries are cut McDonalds style and ALWAYS come out piping hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience and will forever come back to this Saint Pete gem.
Outstanding burger and an incredibly friendly staff! We brought the dog and had a wonderful time sitting outside. Try the tots they were delish!

We were in the area and decided to stop for lunch ....we had burgers ...hubby had relish & onion and I had the works ....big burger and it was yummy ...the beer was cold as well ...prices was old school and service was great ....seating inside and outside ....
Was looking for a ? spot to try and I found another go to spot. I passed this restaurant several times and never had a chance to stop until the other day.I treat my ? like ?. I don’t want anything on it, just give me the meat and ? because the meat should do the work. When you add all the toppings, any ? can taste good.I ordered this burger with ? and it was delicious. Seasoned and they make all the burgers medium well how I like it.Quick note: I suggest you get the double burger, it’s not a double patty but two patties in one. As you can see in the picture, one patty for some people will not be enough if you’re hungry..
