Trash lo mein had no flavor the rice had no flavor the bourbon chicken wasn’t good no flavor is the word of the night. Very disappointed the only reason I came was because I saw 4 and half stars. Now I’m reading review some else had the same issue no flavor on the lo mein. I’m from out of town but I felt this needed a review because the disappointment was real.
I never write reviews, but this is the best Chinese restaurant in St. Pete. My mom ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and she said it was the biggest shrimp she had ever seen. I had the crab Rangoon and I make it at home so it is hard for me to eat out somewhere, but the China Kitchen makes that an easy decision because their Rangoon is amazing and it actually has filling in it. So, China Kitchen is the only Chinese restaurant I will order from.
I am a huge fan of this restaurant. I have ordered from them quite a few times using Uber Eats and I’ve always been impressed with the quality of their food and their speed. And I recently ordered a ton of food from them last minute because a catering company for a family funeral event fell through, and they really came through with speedy service and delicious and varied food that everyone loved (including vegetarians)!
Literally just ordered food from there on my lunch break WORST Chinese food I have ever gotten in my life, is a under statement. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! Food was awful!!!! Way too much batter on the shrimp for the sweet and sour (baby) shrimp. My lo mein was bland no flavor at all. The spring roll was ok that’s why their lucky they get one star. There’s a plaza with a Subway try your luck with them.
The food isn't very good but it's the only Chinese fast food place in the neighborhood. This was my second and last time buying from this business. The lady taking orders was just incredibly rude both times from the very get go. She didn't greet me either time. And she was shaking her head at me in disapproval and laughing condescendingly as I tried to place my order. She turned to her co-worker mid-order and started talking over me in the middle of my order then acted as though she couldn't understand me. I think she may actually be the owner as it says " boss" on the receipt under server.

Stopped to get takeout. Possibly the worst Generals chicken I have ever had. All breading, hardly any chicken. Everything was already pre cooked. Nothing fresh about it. Thrown together in 3 minutes and handed to me. Barely warm. Never again.
We ordered our meal for pick up.The service was lacking in friendliness, they did not provide the shrimp egg roll we ordered, AND we discovered the price of each item was more than advertised on the website menu.The food was OK, but disappointed in the service.
Very good! Hot and sour soup and the Singapore Mei Fun are my favorite. Can't go wrong with anything though. Good prices too!
Today is 01/12/22. First and last time my coworkers and I will eat at this dump. Before we chose this eatery, we reviewed the menu online as well as the recent reviews. The three of us ordered something a little different from the other. Well all 3 of us were grossed out. I ordered beef and broccoli w/white rice and an egg roll. What I want to know is how can beef be SLIMEY and the egg roll was soft & greasy. If we could rate a zero we would. Just terrible and not worth our time to return the food and try to explain what is wrong with the food when she could not understand I would like white rice. REALLY need to do better.
