Maria and Josh were amazing. If you ever need to go to checkers go to this one on 66th street. We went to a different checkers that totally screwed us over before going there. So SO GLAD MARIA AND JOSH hooked us up they deserve the world! BOMB.COM
Too hot to cook so we got 2Checkerbergers for $6 and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches for $6. Ashley braved the heat and brought them out to the car. I felt bad I had no cash. Will bring her something tomorrow.
On March 16th I placed an order online for pickup, since I was at St. Pete Hospital being induced and had a small window left to eat. My husband walked over to pickup the food and when he arrived "they were closed". The person refused to give him our food that we had ordered and paid for. Told him that they were closed. He then called the Checkers Helpline number and we were told we would be reimbursed for the order. It's June now and still haven't received a refund yet. Never place an order online for this Checkers unless you like not receiving your food or your money back!!
Please pay your employees more so your locations have staff. At least three times, at three different locations in the past month I've encountered just a single person running the entire place. If you paid them a fair wage, you wouldn't be experiencing these problems.
So 5 stars you ask...for Checkers? Yes indeed! We went on Saturday afternoon. There speaker was not working so you had to go to the window to order. We ordered burgers, fries, monsterella sticks, etc. Believe it or not, the food came out in less than 4 minutes fresh, hot, and right! Now that is service! Such a great experience deserves praise!
It was Checkers. Only after the guys were done smoking weed in the cooler did they notice they had customers. But they were really nice and my food was hot and freshly made. No heat lamp food
The order speaker/screen was down but the employees at this location were very fast and very kind! The food was exactly how I expected it to be, hot and tasty for a quick lunch on the go.
It's been many years since I've had checkers. My daughter and I were on our way somewhere and we made the impulse decision to pick up some fries. We pulled into the drive thru and were greeted nicely, we ordered our fries and decided to do the 2 for $4 spice chicken sandwich. The service was very pleasant and fast. The fries were fresh, crispy and tasted exactly as I had remembered them as a kid! My daughter loved them. The spicy chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy but comparing it to other fast food places I would probably get a similar sandwich somewhere else. But between the friendly service and crispy fries, I'd come back to this location sooner than I had before...lol
Of course I had the fries they're always good milkshakes are thick burgers still taste like the paper they're wrapped in
Only one drive through part was open and we had to wait to finish order. Ordered 2 fish sandwiches and 2 French fries and 2 small drinks. No ketchup was given and didn't find out till I stopped to eat. There only seem to be 2 people working one cooking and one taking orders. Food was hot and good
