It was the only pizza place that still took delivery orders at 9pm on a Friday (ordered Uber Eats online ) and the 18” pizza was great tasting, also terrific taste when reheated in hot air fryer, and exactly arrived at the time they promised! Tip was included at the 38$ and they said at 9 takes one hour and it would arrive 10:05 (we live 25min away!) and it exactly arrived at that time! How did they do that??
The food was excellent it would’ve been a lot better without the seeds from the lemons in it that I almost choked on multiple times and other than that the food was on point and great customer service
My favorite place downtown. Never too crowded and always comfy, serving until late at night with a menu that has a little of everything. Staff is incredible, even when to-go orders are lined up out the door and late night crowds file in, Scarlett, Jess, and James are great at what they do, they are as respectful as could be, and go non-stop to keep up with every request.
They gave me old pizza who knows how long it's been out. But they threw some cheese on it and heated it up. But you can see it easily. I understand if you're buying slices they make them in advance but this is something else.
We have ordered pick-up numerous times and have never been disappointed with their food. The food is filling and generous. Great taste. A+ for their gyros, pizza, pasta dishes. Would recommend.
My partner went for the first time today before a paramedic shift to Angelo’s. He was going to get fast food, but instead opted to go locally to grab two slices before his 12-hour shift. He went in to get his slices and specifically asked “do you have two slices that are ready to go now?” And the cashier (or maybe owner?) said they will toss them in the one for 5 minutes so they are warm OR he can get in room temperature. He said he’d take two at room temperature. After paying with his debit card for the two slices, he waited inside Angelo’s. I was in the car waiting for him to come out and about 15 minutes went by. He came back empty handed and we drove off. He needed to get to his shift that started very soon. He didn’t get refunded as he didn’t have time to ask for a refund. I called and the same cashier said “yeah, you can come back in. We are doing the orders as we go.” If this is the case, do not tell customers you have slices to go and charge them ahead of time. The lady was super rude on the phone (especially knowing the customer is a first responder). Yikes!P.S. We didn’t get the money back! We are going to dispute it through his card. ?♀️?♀️?♀️
Pros-1. Open till 330am 7days a week. Its the only place Downtown St.Pete open past 11pm or 12 everynight (Tonys pizza one block away is much better and has similar hours but i think thurs-sat. Check those details)2. Food is pretty good and comes out pretty quickly (pizza isnt the best but the other food items were suprising good compared to the lack luster pizza.3. Largish menu Satisfying an array of tastes4. Ample Parking in a city where thats not always the case.Cons-1.The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. They seem annoyed that you're there. If you do not want to be working late, do not take a job that is open late. In fact I'm pretty sure I was helped by the owner himself or at least an older manager type... I guess it comes from the top down here?♂️2.They do not take phone ahead orders past 1 AM. ( Why they are discouraging customers to give them their business by making It less convenient i do not know. Besides in my eyes it wouldnt it be easier, especially since they do not enjoy customer service, To make the food without being stared at for 15mins? Not to mention Covid and the unnecessary risk they are putting customer and staff at?3. Last call is a full hour before they close. So i couldnt even get a beer while i waited...perhaps i could have had the bartender not ignored me.4. The pizza sucks and they dont have speacialy slices for individual sale.5. Did i mentions the rude staff and inconvient policys? But hey at 2am they got us by the hairy ones and they know it.
Over the past two months our baby has had to stay at All Children’s Hospital and we are not from the area. In the last two months we’ve had to be out here on and off we’ve had lunch and dinner at Angelo’s and the food never disappoints. And neither does the service. Angelo’s has become a bright spot as we go through this difficult time and we will continue to come here (even when we’re not at the hospital)
Pizza and garlic cheese bread was pretty burnt. Quality isn’t really there for the price ($27 for an 18inch pizza).Got it delivered through Uber Eats so no idea on the restaurant itself.
ENORMOUS amounts of delicious food! We came in during down time and were served very quickly and very well. The two Chicken Alfredos we go could easily fit 4 people, the chicken was grilled to perfection, and the sauce was great. Also highly recommend their garlic cheese bread.Took a lot home that night in a box… still going through it.
